se-rules, you'll know when your using 3G on o2 because there will be a symbol next to the signal meter that's like a blue and white swirl...alternatively, you can turn off the 3G and just have it in gsm mode. |

I've just seen the K800i at my end yesterday-Sunday, and it's really impressive ! The size of the handset is a bit longer and wider than that of the K750i . . . and the box, . . . . . the box looks so elegantly done ! Not the usual green and white packaging, slimmer and all black . . . nice !

Well can you not set the video to play in the same size as in the k750 so it doesnt loo so choppy.
|
|
Yes you can. You can set it to 'original', 'full screen' or 'maximise' (but not to cut away any part of the video)

here are the specs for the K610 where you can see UMTS has considerably less battery time
Networks Talk time (up to) Standby time (up to) Video call (up to)
....UMTS 2 hours 30 min 350 hours 0 min 1 hours 35 min
GSM 900 7 hours 0 min 350 hours 0 min -
GSM 1800 7 hours 0 min 350 hours 0 min -
GSM 1900 7 hours 0 min 350 hours 0 min -

I am very very impressed with the camera. The flash is great, just like my sony digi cam! I thought when they were using the cybershot name then it would be a bit of a con - but the camera is ace! |

Does anyone find that the top volume button is slighty hard to push in?

It has a proper xenon flash that you would find on a proper digi-cam, not the LED that you would find on the W900, K750 etc. |

Its is very good quality. I took a pic in a cab on Sat night and it came out very clear, almost like evening light, when it was taken at 1am pitch black! Highly recommended!
