Visual communication like never before with the Sony Ericsson Satio |

@ titus1 - from your experience yes it may have been the best thing to do. But if like myself and other posters like jmcomms you have previous experience of S60 its usually wise to install themes to phone memory. Other apps arent so important.
@ Bonovox - sure the Pixon 12 might take good pictures but i said decent cameraphone, not just a camera. IMHO Samsung phones have never been all that good. I dont like their interface or silly limitations. The Pixon 12 might take pictures on par or even better than the Satio but its not such a great phone. Think about it, both SE and Nokia make phones which in 5 years time we will all remember. Samsungs phones are forgettable, uninteresting and boring to use, again IMHO.
Etaab should keep his mouth shut instead of saying something is stupid. Or perhaps he doesn't know what stupid means... "Satio is the only decent 12Mp camera phone"... C'mon! Etaab, you're probably the worst kinf of fanboy around! LOL
Unfortunately the good people of Esato have once again had the misfortune to read this persons posts. Again like in another thread Mr Vit has gotten it all wrong. Since day one of owning the Satio all ive done is wish i'd gone for a N97. I miss Nokia, i miss Nokia apps, i miss 3.5mm jacks, i miss stereo speakers.. and SE are quite disappointing me at the moment. The Playnow site has so few apps on it which are worthwhile it makes the Satio's smartphone open OS redundant ATM.
Perhaps Mr Vit should consider licking his wounds from the previous thread when he got it wrong prior to attempting to belittle other users. Its backfired on him again -oops !

Finnally i used my shure earphones on satio and i must that its not on the same league as nokia n85...not even closer... I dont know yet if its satio own fault or is it the cheap 3,5mm adaptor from ebay fault... Would be any different if i use real SE adaptors that came with earphones?
I have tried cheap adapters too and must say the original SE one is far better. In fact the sound is acctually good using my Denon earplugs |

Has anyone tried stereo Bluetooth earphones yet ? im considering buying one due to the Satio's lack of a 3.5mm jack.

I have experienced a drop in volume using the HBH DS-205 bluetooth headset. So if your headset has low impedance, the volume may be to low

Isnt that more to do with the SE headphones rather than the Bluetooth headset part ? Ive noticed that SE headphones have lower dB levels than other headphones.

I've been using the headset that comes with the Aino and definitely have no volume issues.
Mind you, the headset works even better with my Bold 9700 - as you can really pump up the volume on that (once you agree to the warning that you'll go deaf).
All handset makers should now have agreed to cap the volume levels, as part of an EU directive, but some still let you override it - either via a menu option or a hack (like the I8910 HD in its engineering menus). Not sure what you can do on the Satio.

This is something that really does p!ss me off about SE is their volume limits. Its the same with Sony, the PSP came with such paltry headphones in the dB department in anything but a completely quiet room and the headphones were useless !

See, im considering buying the new MW600 Bluetooth stereo headset come february, but my main concern is the volume level. Surely not all stereo Bluetooth headsets have lower volume levels than wired earphones ?
