Sorry, the only other thing I can suggest is to restart your PC and try again
Maybe your phone requires a region-specific firmware that is not on the system yet.
Anyone else got any ideas? |

Yes my Itech Bluetooth Headset still doesnt work with the phone.. The phone menus are a load faster which is nice and th crashing seems to have gone, How do i know. Well i could get the phone to crash with half hour of using it, so far ive used it for longer and notihing. So i hope the next updates makes the bluetooth headsets work better. |

it may be that not all the firmwares have been placed on the servers.
Which countries were your phones purchased in? |

Mine was purchased in the Netherlands and it has EU_3 on it. My battery was not completely charged (half charged), could this be the reason for not being able to update? |

Just noticed a Start-Up Screen under the display tab in options. New to my orange phone on this update! |

No, EU_3 isn't available yet. I'm having the same problem. It just says it's not available for my operator. Other people report the same message. |

I know this is ridiculously off-topic, but just got a text message on my newly-flashed phone that the Michael Jackson verdict has been reached, if anyone's interested. It's due to be announced in 10 minutes. |

Apart from rhe software version than changed to R1A044 I cannot see anything different on my 02 "branded" phone. Any other 02 users see anything different ar know of any other changes?
Only changes I have noticed is that it reset to the default shortcuts and my own shortcuts now missing in action.

I think the java implementation has been improved. In the old firmware playing certain java apps and the media player at the same time would not work. But now it does . The media icon has changed after flashing... |

Deano, Is the phone a Orange Generic One ?
i know that Orange are in a few countries and they were released at the same time ?
I never had the Start up screen in my phone before so it is something nice to be different. |

@UncleBob. If your firmware is R1A044 AFTER the update then it hasn't worked - it should be R1J002. R1A044 is the original firmware
