I think SE has a winner here!
Will be a far more successfull than any other 3G handset around.
Heck, it's only a bit longer than a K700i!!!
This is the kind of phone that will make people wanna have 3G.
Hope the video call feature is good (good picture).

If you check out thedoc's video link on page 9, you will be pleased to hear from the phone's designer that the front panel of the phone is most definitely metal...

I just did as you recomended, that's good news. To bad the back panel isn't metal though. But that will do |

Taller than K700i.
It's not my next phone.
I want Clara to be truly come out.
If K600 is entry level 3G-Phone, will there be a mid-level 3G-Phone released soon by SE? May be in Kxxx series? Or will it be the Clara?
Can't wait for Clara...

@Goldenface, you seem to be informed so I rest my case. I'm glad to hear that. |

So now we can make a conclusion: SonyEricsson will not produce any good-looking mobile phone. Only ugly ones. I hope to keep my T68i as long as it lives. |

@Aivar
So what don't you like about the K600? And what did you think about the T610? |

@ goldenface
It would go far from this thread, so I just admit that I don't like the design of SE phones. The only exception is T68i (but is like an Ericsson T68m).
Also I quite like a design of P910 and P900. But I do not need smartphones (too big and heavy).
All other SE mobile phones are too robust and crude (angular). And the keypad is similar to fixed phones from 10-20 years ago.
I guess, I don't like Japanese taste of beauty. |

I think its the Swedish end of SE that are responsible for how the K600 looks.
Personally, i like it. Its a little strange to look at but you get used to it. Im not too keen on the lens section of the phone, that large circular disc on the rear i think looks a little cheap. Id rather have the S700i's shutter anyday.
Im quite suprised SE did not give the K600 Duo support, even the now ageing Nokia 6230 ( the K700i's main rival ) supports MMC cards.
I can see Nokia having the upper hand again this time around, memory wise.

Despite the absence of mem slot, i also think SE has a winner in it´s hands
SE has all the right things to come out of the 3G revolution as a winner
I´m very enthusiastic about the next phones they will present, after seeing z800 and k600 |

@xo4ox. Thanks for the pictures.
ALERT: If you look at the pictures of the UI on the French site and look at the Icon bottom left, THERE IS A PICTURE OF CLARA ON THE ICON
Does this mean that the K600i was Clara all along????
The camera looks the same as on the S700 ? K700.
I still find it hard to believe this is a 3G phone. Its just so small.
@Etaab. I couldn't really tell whether this is Japanese or European influenced in its design.
Although, I do like the way SE designs each of its handsets individually, and doesn't pick one style and apply it to the whole range.
I wonder why just because a SE handset looks nothing like an Ericsson model, it must be Japanese designed.
