nothing official for now, probably only a bugfix or similar specific to US firmware... |

I'm here in the US and updated to version R2AE033 and I never have been able to "zoom" witht the camera. The specs say 4x capability but the manual doesn't mention it. Am I reading this wrong or what? |

hehe no, you are doing it wrong 
4x zoom only on lowest resolution  ... press 1 in camera mode to change the resolutions
4x zoom - 160
2x zoom - 320
no zoom - 640/1280

I recently updated my firmware to r2ae033, and did a master reset.
I see i now only have one std theme. Is that right? |

R2AE033 is the latest official firmware. R2G has not been made public yet. There are a few others as well, But R2AE033 is the newest one publicly.
Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES
