I've read some people didn't get the case (I think I also read that in this thread). Also some people didn't seem to get a USB cable that is capable of synch and charge... they just got a sync cable

I got the same games as you but I didn't get the 3d phonebook

On Vodafone I got the full kit by the sound of it - case, cd, hands free, charging usb cable...

Anyone know what the little cushiony thing is though, bit bigger than a postage stamp with the Motorola logo on?

Oh, and while I'm here, does anyone know of any way to change a wrongly entered word when texting without having to go back and delete the whole word? It's not a huge deal but it bugs me!

The cushion thingy is the Motorola equivlent of what some owners got in their phone packs to clean their screens, keypads etc

Its a type of polishing cloth

Personally. With the v3 I find that a slightly damp cloth to wipe the screens and keypad clean works a lot better imo.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose

I got my orange V3 today...

Couple of complaints...

An Orange logo on the battery cover doesnt suit the classy style of the phone

I can't seem to customise the navikeys to do what I want... think Orange locked it? I've downloaded the V3 manual from the motorola site and when I follow the instructions to personalise them the options just aren't there... guess I'll have to have 2 wap and 2 message buttons then...

Other than that you get everything you should get, including a kick ass metal case!

What is it with Orange and short cuts? What have they got against letting the user decide how they want their phone setup? They’ve done the same with the K700 and it’s bloody annoying!!!!!!!! Anyways, should be getting my Orange butchered V3 today!

I am seriously contemplating building a poweramp for my car using the V3 box
We have competent staff here at university to make it happen at a very reasonable price. Now wouldn´t that be nice?

@ThreeX: If ya get it done you'll have to post pictures cuz that would be awesome... and then you'd have to get pone done for me too

Still annoyed with my none-customisable home icons.... any way to get round orange's butchering? like a bios flash or summat? or maybe summat as simple as a factory reset? I'd try it but then I'd have to put all my numbers in again...

I can't imagine every selling mine. There are very few handset I will keep for ever but the startac and the V3 are certainly in that category
