This is a very rare thread
It seems to me that all the gay users at the begin of the thread are not here anymore.
I'm gay too but i can't find sense to this thread. So what's the idea??
Or was stolen by straigth men??

I'm not gay, and I'm really against gay people who flirt with people who arn't gay.

I don't mind gay's been around, its a way of life for a lot of people, I just never want to be hit on, it would be weird.

I think its a good thread, IMHO it would take a lot of confidence to tell a public forum that you are homosexual.

Haha, agreed.

Just today a friend of mine was being hit on by a girl (My Friend is a "She") and she was really uncomfotable about it . It was funny hearing their conversation!

I think its like the question the hetro members ask: "How many women are on this forum?", so i think respect is the key...

I think its just that gay people now feel comfortable with being openly gay. Lets face it, being gay was totally bad a few years back. Now that the world has accepted homosexual people, the community is proud of it, its like a long walk to freedom.

Apart from that, i think homosexual people are significantly more open minded and confident 'cos of the turmoil that one has to deal with to accept yourself as gay.
It ain't easy...

@HyperiaBlue

i agree with u.

altho sum gay ppl are too scared to admit they are gay because of family, and society.

here is a good question for st8 ppl, lets say u have a few gay friends and u all decide to go to a gay club. would u be prepared to dance with a gay guy?

for me it is not a problem, after i finish dancing and they sugest anything more i point them in the direction of 1 of my gay friends.lol

what would u do????

I am gay and i can't even get a gay guy to dance with me
But thats another story!

Thats a good question you asked though, would like to see the reaction.

As for more than a dance...well if you're str8 and that happens to you...politely say to the guy no thanks...but i can refer you to someone else!

Besides if a guy thinks you're gorgeous, take it as a compliment...'cos its hard for men to express themselves!

Haha, it was the same with my straight (what is with st8?) friend! She was being called hot etc by her lesbian friend, but she had to turn her down . (Quite unfortunate really )

Well, as for the gay club etc, I just don't think i'd go to one. I mean, I don't have a problem with gay company (I went to an all guys school, I can tell you there were a fair few gay people there!!) just I think being in a gay club would defeat the point of going clubbing. I mean, sure, you hang out with your mates, but in the end... Well, lets just say that I'd feel uncomfortable dancing (unless it was a joke) with a gay guy. Not that thats any different from dancing with a straight guy. Wait, when you say dance, do you mean hand around waist dance? Or just general club dance. 'Cause I'm ok with the latter, I just don't really want to be too close .

If that has offended anyone, it wasn't intended to, so don't take it that way.

Well, 80% of gay guys love geniune club music, thus general club dancing. Not many are into the ballroon kind of dancing @ a club.
Besides, gay people love a good party and not a boring old waltz, although when the occasion calls for it they are just as adept @ it.

PS: str8 = str-eight...get it? Its the abbreviatoin used for straight people...str8

Well I know that str8 is short for straight. I just don't see how saving 4 key presses is all that important.

Oh and I know you guys love the club music, 'cause my friends call the music I listen to "Gay Music" .

Nick

Edit: Any generalisations I have made concerning tastes in music was solely based upon previous posts. God I hate being PC.

Edit 2: Any reference to religious figures in the above edit is un-intentional. If it makes you feel better, substitue "Darn" for "God" or another non-denominational term.

blast from the past.

I don't get gays - no offence, but why are you gay (to the general gay population) how can you prefere men or women to the oposite sex? Men and women were designed for eachother (look at phisical structure) so why fight the norm? I dont get it?

I realise this could be offensive, but I dont see why people want to be gay.

I don't get it, I have nothing against gays, not a fan of lesbians or anything, but I was just wondering if anyone can explain to me, why they go against nature and thousands of years of evolution?

Maybe I am homophobic, i duno if I saw 2 men kissing I suppose id see it as weird, but then again ive never seen it before, so I can't really give my opinion on the matter
