I went out last week when I said but they were out of stock at all the places I went to in the electronics markets in Beijing. I'm going back in the next couple days to try again, but now that I didn't manage to get the TX I'm unsure again of whether to get the T or not instead..

TX certainly has the better lines but is the smaller battery a deal breaker? If it lasts as well as my Arc does I'll be happy I guess.

I'll report back with pics, impressions and a mini-review.

The Xperia T has been taken off pre-order and looks like it's actually on sale at the carphonewarehouse. Only on Orange and O2 atm though.

link.

Don't think I've ever seen a tariff at £66 per month before.

Actually, it says 'stock available soon' on the order page.

Xperia TX and GX are ALMOST identical. I believe the Japanese GX has some Japan only features i.e. their own equivalent of NFC payment and Japan specific radio bands (I may be wrong on this bit). Visually they are the same. In fact, I'm sure there were some TX pre-production models hanging around at the GX announcement posing as GXs to make up the numbers.

GX has no dedicated camera button, TX does.

Wow Xperia T looks better than I thought it did, really takes decent shots to show the beauty in a device.

I always get black devices but I must admit, I think black might be a bit plain for this phone, I will have to see what colours launch here in Australia. (Only the black one launched originally for outright here in Australia, and I'd always make a concession for a conservative colour if I could get the phone earlier)

He talks too much, and coz he's Chinese I didn't understand anything, the only thing I found new is that T might look better than what I thought from different angels

I'm still looking forward to see live pics and hands on for the white Xperia T

I want something as Svelte as the Arc Xperia T looks a bit big. Maybe I might get the Xperia V instead. Either way, my S3 has got to go.
