I'm not really sure how that will work though.
Last year I did the same but my slot was at 10:00.
This time its at the same time as the shop opens, which will probably be mayhem...!

Depends on interest I suppose... Bit difficult to say... As people who are in the know... Will prob try to pre-order or get in early... I'm sure apple will have enough bodies at the opening...

last year, the queues I saw were only about 20-30 people but it was taking quite a while to get through them from what I heard from colleagues who were in the queues.
I may yet still preorder. I just wanted to keep my options open until pre-order day.

no idea, lol!
I shall probably just check when I wake.
I'd prefer to stay with t-mobile, but thing is that I want to be sure I can unlock it officially, and currently only o2 do that, but even before pre-ordering I will call t-mob on the 15th to check their policy.

I'm very annoyed, this is poor Customer service to make us wait until the very past minute to understand prices of the phone dependant on tariff choice. AT&T released their prices on the day of the WWDC, come on UK carriers, get your act together!!! |

I'm very happy that we get the phone within 3 weeks of announcement, unlike some other companies (cough, cough!).
... and knowing the price a week in advance or the day before... does it really matter as long as you know before the day its available so you can have a little time to decide which carrier and tariff you want?
remember too that UK has so much choice now, whereas US still have no choice at all. This means Apple can still negotiate easily with AT&T whereas here they have to deal with many carriers, some of whom had not even announced their intention to sell the iphone on iPhone 4 announcement day.

I have read on a website... Can't remember which one... Someone spoke with Apple Sales team who have suggested that it would be the same sort of prize as the 3GS was when released...

@SE-Naz, that would be my expectation too.
@m8cky, you don't have to decide tomorrow. The phone isn't released for another 10 days so you have plenty of time to decide!
anyway.. bah! I just had an email that all personal shopping experiences for launch day are now cancelled so its pre-order or queue only it seems
