I thought having the accelerometer on SE devices was a great thing until I saw it didnt work in the left-handed orientation. Its the small touches like this that make up a good user experience though. |

Its because us left-handed people are awesome and creative
Now what I think would be a great thing would be if you could use an SE phone entirely in landscape mode. Every menu, every popup, every list, every preinstalled java app should work in landscape mode too. Then it would be more convenient since you could use what you prefer all the time rather than keep having to switch. |

Well if you want to know prostreet comes with that feature. Ah i miss my W760 although i hated it in a strange way. You guys think Walkman V4 will be in the W705? Also wouldnt it be cool if Sony confirmed that the A300 platform is some kinda super futuristic thing? Like a customizable menu where you can arrange the icons how you want and what icon you can use? I mean like setting could either be the wrench/screwdriver thing or a bunch of cogs and the entertainment area could be the gamepad or a music/video combo thing. Cool no? Im also showing how imaginative us left handers are XD |

Time to set up the Esato Lefty Lair, don't you think? 
The entire  UI in landscape mode would be a huge plus IMO, given the time people spend browsing, blogging or gaming on their phones. Giving users a chance to customize the bells and whistles is an asset that has yet to be tapped into, so bring on the A300! The new Java platform in 2009... there's something to look forward to.

EDIT: Whatever the wishes of some users may be, we're in for a long wait before we can hope for more lefty-friendly UIs or highly customizable icons for that matter. The sheer numbers of right-handers have us fighting against the odds and icons, well, their purpose is to be instantly recognizable i.e. have a standard appearance. Therefore, investing in giving users tweaking choices looks-wise may not be considered exactly advisable or profitable. Even the likes of Windows OS does not give us the possibility to do simple things easily, such as customize the colours of specific folders.

I acually agree on all that. And if that does happen i would love it. I doubt it will but it could. That would also mean those game keys could serve a purpose and have them on all phones. |

That would be awesome!
That's one big thing that makes me sad......i have the same menu for ähhhh 6 years now? I think 6-7years always the same menu-style.
Customize is definitely on my wishlist for 2009 - PLEASE SE!!!!!!

well, what i really wanted for a non-os SE phone to have is a dedicated gpu like goforce 5500 or etc. it made SE really gaming friendly when they introduce nvidia gpu in W900. besides those chips have its own video and audio DSPs so the long issue with SE will be finally addressed.

i guess the video on both orientation is possible through patching. so a200 also get the samething. but if patching comes before the release of a300 we will be happy. i feel its off topic
anymore info on hikaru. i'm waiting to see that.
