OV2640 Color CMOS UXGA (2.0 MegaPixel) CameraChip™ Image Sensor with OmniPixel2™ Technology

The OV2640 CameraChip™ image sensor is a low voltage CMOS sensor that provides the full functionality of a single-chip UXGA (1632 x 1232) camera and image processor in a small footprint package. The OV2640 provides full-frame, sub-sampled, scaled or windowed 8-bit/10-bit images in a wide range of formats, controlled through the Serial Camera Control Bus (SCCB) interface.

This product has an image array capable of operating at up to 15 frames per second (fps) in UXGA resolution with complete user control over image quality, formatting and output data transfer. All required image processing functions, including exposure control, gamma, white balance, color saturation, hue control, white pixel canceling, noise canceling, and more, are also programmable through the SCCB interface. The OV2640 also includes a compression engine for increased processing power. In addition, OmniVision CameraChip products use proprietary sensor technology to improve image quality by reducing or eliminating common lighting/electrical sources of image contamination, such as fixed pattern noise, smearing, etc., to produce a clean, fully stable color image.

Liquid Resize

onOne Software Announces Acquisition of Liquid Resize Technology
onOne Software adds ground-breaking image resizing and retargeting technology to its product offerings.

Portland, OR Janury 17, 2008 onOne Software, Inc., provider of world-class software solutions for professional photographers and graphic designers, announces today the technology acquisition of Liquid Resize which introduces a ground-breaking new way to resize images using a technique known as "seam carving" to reduce the distortion that typically occurs when manipulating the aspect ratio of an image.

"We're excited to have acquired this incredible new and unique image resizing technology to add to our award-winning line of Photoshop® plug-ins," said Craig Keudell, president of onOne Software. "This new technology that allows users to maintain the original aspect ratio of a digital image will provide photographers and graphic designers alike unprecedented control when they resize or adjust the composition of their images."

About Liquid Resize
Liquid Resize, a "content aware" image resizing application, was originally developed by the Vienna, Austria based husband-wife team of Ramin Sabet and Irmgard Sabet-Wasinger and is based on the work of Shai Avidan and Ariel Shamir that made its first appearance in a video

Video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qadw0BRKeMk released at Siggraph 2007.

Liquid Resize will allow users to resize an image without the traditional geometric limitations while minimizing any distortion that would typically result from changing the original aspect ratio of an image.

Availability and Pricing
A free public beta of Liquid Resize for both Windows and Mac OS X users will be available in late January 2008 as a stand-alone application from the onOne Software Web site. A Photoshop plug-in version of Liquid Resize is expected to be available in the middle of 2008. Pricing has not yet been announced for the final version of Liquid Resize that will be released later in 2008.

Update - January 31, 2008
The public beta of Liquid Resize is not yet available as originally planned. For updates on the availability of the Liquid Resize public beta, please visit the onOne Blog.

@amnher
The driver gooddarkshoot is based on a z550 believe that the creator is something Leo, only changed the exposure that driver.
Indeed the driver is not good w600/w550 the sensors nor the chip to these models are few changes that are noted because they are not supported by the hardware or the hardware does not respond to the stimuli of changes.
Try the driver v5.95_ADCM_3855 posted in HD because the values have changed exposure equal to the values of the property z550 and added Super Color for the purpose solarize but i don´t know if this working properly for w600.
There are also some pacthes within the package and with a pacthe you can use several drivers cam inside a folder.
Read the post # 9 of w600/550
So need to test the driver v5.95_ADCM_3855
The last chance
and good luck

@aashish007

New things in the driver w830 like that??? I don´t miracles friend joking I hope the results of a driver with the same chip used in w830 responds to see how well can see that can be introduced in the w830 but they are not major changes but u could ask for Rai trying to do a super model and similar to the w830/w850
So post some pics with your w830 here
Cheers

@killem

I don´t know very well how it is behaving the driver because nobody take photos on the driver nobody post videos of both the driver Sonarik as Brazukas could at least post some pictures and video to try to improve the exposure for each scene and environment but it is hard when you do not have help

I also don´t know if the exposure is random and sensor chip that because I am not seeing much difference in the exhibition and its effects on the photos, because they were changed and the exposure when there is a comprehensive review of the photograph are completely different from those it has in programming.

Another thing I think that the effects are pre determined and configured without power change them, that is the effect can not be changed because they simply do not respond to the duties. Therefore it changed ownership Super Color for the post of scenes on the scene party to see if there is any change, but it all depends on tests and consequences.

Cheers

See u Guys !!!
