Finally SE is coming out with some awsome products!!! But Im afraid they have changed its market strategy... something like Nokia... now they are doing it like Nokia does.. cloning.

Sorry for the edit but needed to edit your post for clarity in my reply.
This isnt cloning. The abilities of the Symbian OS 9.1a core along with the UIQ3 allow for wide range of menu differences & Themes.

1) KEYS; you must be blind as you didnt notice the keys of the M600 greatly differ from the W950. sure they can both do email for push support; but so did the T68i/m, the T610-T630 (thats cloning right there all those models). This is no different than the K750i from the W800i except due to expandable memory & keypad along with 3rd party apps that are Try & Buy.

2) I'll be the features of the Walkman & Volume , and clarity of high volume are NOT in the M600; so too is Stereo BT Streaming. The M600 has BT v2.0 while the W950i has BT v1.2;

This is how SE can differentiate between the two models that are offered here in discussion.

Read more than just look at the pictures, please.

@ prom1

wouldn't it be the other way around,
w950 = 2.0
m600 = 1.2

or if not, the same...

Nice fone all the same, but very similar to the W950

yeah, for now.

An averge person would probably make the 4G go alot further without the camera, but still...

I can't imagine creating a new device like this without swapable memory. I mean sure 4GB is alot for a phone today, but what about in 2 or 3 years from now? Do these new phones not have a life expectancy of more than that?

Geeze, I still have my Nokia 5210.

That is an interesting point I am not sure that phones are meant to have a lifespan of more than two years nowdays as technology advances so quickly.

I am already having problems finding P910i handsets or spares in the high street, sure they are available on the web but for a flagship model to disappear so quickly is simply stunning.

The manufacturers all seem to be delivering models that dip a toe into areas they want to grow to see if it's worth developing a strong product line, This is perfectly natural but it leads to an even faster product churn rate. making early adopters spend far more than is reasonable if they wish to stay current.
I have owned the ... T68i T610, P800, P900, P910, P990, W950, P1, W960 But SE have now totally lost the plot.

@etaab,all the upcoming se touchscreen phones look more like a damn blackberry than an ipod.
btw,when a new phone is announced why can't the person who starts the thread just post a link instead of copy & paste all the text & make the thread so long.i don't think many here would b interested in reading what the v.p. of se had 2 say. [addsig]

I dont think the P990i, which is still my primary choice, looks like a Blackberry. Gladly.

The W950i does have Bluetooth v2.0 btw, and not v1.2.

@ayk Esato has a tradition of giving those who are interested in SE products good onsite information rather than simply relying on hyperlinks to external sources. I personaly like the way things are done here

Nitro, I back you up there. Some people might be on wap for example. Plus it disturbs my concentration to have to follow links when it can all be read much easier in the thread itself.

Wrong .... IF a headset is BT v2.0 its backwards compatible (hardware & software/firmware) to ver1.0 & in between.

BT v2.0 has had some issues with the Streaming Stereo BT Profile ... hence why the SE K750/W800/W900/P990i that ALL have BTv2.0 before the W950i was announced DONT HAVE the STEREO PROFILE. SE isnt stupid they think ahead when designing, implementing, and launching a product in regards to accessories. Just because SE states that the HBH-DS970 is compatible doesnt mean its STEREO compatible wtih those phones I meantioned.

I wish I could provide proof of it but as of yesterday I cannot find the w950i on the following site ( http://qualweb.bluetooth.org/[....]nkQualified=QualifiedProducts)

OF note the initial manufacturer of shipping BT v2.0 Core chipsets ... of which Cambridge Silicon Radio is the champion of most devices using BTv2.0 doesnt list its profiles, but IS capable of all the profiles available. Its just the firmware stack that must be implemented by choice of the manufacturer implementing it.
