I'm still very pleased with my W800 I actually think it looks better than a K750. The fact that the W810 does not have a lens cover is a big dissapointment for me and is reason enough not to get it. It was a pain in the ass with my K700...Lens covers are a must!

What happened with your k700's lens? Wasn't the fact, that the lens is built deep into the cover, enough to protect it?

@Bezzz, thats a fair point although the recess looks greater with the K700 than the W810, it may not be quite as well protected.

chrisdaemz,
SE made up for the lack of lens cover by recessing the lens and making it scratch proof. lens cover are additional features of SE imaging phones and not walkman phones. (w800 was an exception though) |

in SE home page's w810 overview it was stated that w810 has radio. when you click on the compare w810 with other phones link, the comparison with w550 says w810 doesnt have radio.. hehehe Can anyone really confirm if w810 has radio? i saw though live pictures of w810 in mobileburn and the screen shot of menu has a radio icon. is that confirmatory? |

It does indeed, i got to play with one last night.
It was nice feeling, like a more sober W800. Could not care less about the Edge, but it's there for the ones wanting it. Symboled by a little "E" where the blue GPRS "triangle" used to be.
RTS week 16 said my contact.

There is a version in color aswell, the thing in Bengals picture is just one of the themes, like the W550i |
