Ya, SE is already in trouble, Samsung's 8mp cam phone has been leaked. And it packs a punch in the spec department and looks too!
Hey Wanqs, you have the w350?

I have to admit that I didn't think the Boks had much of a chance at The House Of Pain in Dunedin. I'm so glad that I was wrong, and that they were the ones to put an end to NZ's record 30 games-unbeaten-at-home streak.
The House Of Pain is so low down on the NZ map and therefore much colder, and is pretty much a haven for university students studying on the lower part of the South Island, getting tanked-up to keep themselves warm n' pumped up before AB games etc. NZ is also having one of its coldest snaps ever and the conditions looked to favour them too.
Fot the Boks to win there and to do waht they did is fantastic.
Have to also admit though, Dan Carter is just an incredible player, even with the odd missed drop goal.
Ricky Januarie, yer beauty!
Anyways, they're doing a lot, lot better tha the Proteas at the moment...

Yeah, tell me about it; that's why I often do my best to keep this thread ticking over with cellphone pics and cellphone price comparisons etc etc.
I'm unable to post at work anymore, as the local authority filter lets me check out esato and other sites, but does not allow access to any forums now..
I could post from my cellphone during my lunch hour etc, but data rates here ain't the cheapest, enough for me to wait until I get home. Hence the evenings 'shifts' and parts of the weekend in this thread are pretty much Wanqa Time, LOL.

No boet, but I really like the looks of it, despite its fairly small screen.
I just changed the avatar 'cos the green n' purple tints on the low light pics i took yesterday were really pissing me off.
I managed to get some stunning pics from the school's rooftop (nearly 4 storeys up) with some ominous cloud formations building up, then some seagulls were hovering in the breeze, just a few metres above me. I managed to get some clear pics of them with the stratus cloud build-up as the background, but all of them were 'affected' so much by the crap tinting that I deleted the lot...
Enough to tick me off to change my avatar, LOL.
C'mon Nokia, where's those S60 touchscreens dammit, LOL.

I'm slowly coming to the realization as well that i need to get myself a new phone. The 6680 is still performing as required, but maybe the time has come to retire it. Maybe this year... or next year LOL, i don't find it easy to part with a favourite handset.
The Boks did a splendid job today, although the All Blacks gave them a tough game.

@ JC: I'm really not sure at this point.
I'm first going to get the P1i's firmware updated and see how much of a difference it makes. I enjoy some of the UIQ3 applications but as we all know, S60 provides so much more. I like the size and looks of the P1i, and it has been pretty stable.
My love for touchsceen handsets does limit me a fair bit at this stage. I was really set on a G900, which goes for the same money as a N82, but it seems to be a mediocre upgrade from the P1i IMHO.
I might wait for the new Nokia S60 touchscreens to surface and see what they offer, or wait for WindowsMobile platform phones to obtain better cameras in the future..
EDIT: 18000 posts, peeps!

Lol Ama, that's taking it a bit too far, hopefully a drastic change will occur after the firmware update. Yeah, it really is a nice looking phone, that's for certain.

@ gola:
I certainly hope that the latest firmware will be a decent enough upgrade.
I bought the P1i knowing about the cam tint issues, and in all fairness the P1i has produced some bril pics with me, but when the problem manifested dramatically in so many pics in those conditions, it's hard to find much 'understanding' for something that should've clearly been rectified at the prototype stage by .
It's not that I would diss the phone as a whole, based on a well-known flaw; as I've mentioned already I do like the phone (for all the reasons that wooed me into buying it in the first place).
Having stated all this, I should've updated the firmware sooner as well..

P1i pic taken on Saturday:
Taking a b&w pic of a flower seems to be an injustice of sorts, but the light filtering through onto this flower prompted me to give it a go, to emphasise the lighting contrasts. And the result came out pretty cool, IMHO:
