EM all the way.
SEM ..for faster pics?
is it possible to have only EM and SEM in this driver raider?
because i just want EM and SEM and sometimes change ISO values.
and...if not..is it possible to use this latest driver and change manually EM and SEM iso values? and mantain the same "smart" process of original EM and SEM?
but make it say ....EM + iso400 (just an example) with iso manually set

Can you port it please to K810 R8BA024 using raider's great cam driver v6.5 because this patch is very useful. Or anyone who knows porting this to K810 R8BA024?
Thanks a lot for the help.

yes, no big changes in this matter, the only change is this:
fast shutter (+0.7) = hybrids for auto ISO, SEM/EM- for manual ISO
slow shutter (+1.0) = normal SEM/EM for auto ISO, SEM/EM+ for manual ISO

if you really need LED in scene document I'll add new value in customization section to allow on it

well, you can use SEM/EM with manual ISO since v6.4.1, only hybrids doesn't work with manual ISO. at least you don't have to use hybrids

-/+ are relations between SEM/EM and manual ISO
1. exposure time - selected ISO
2. exposure time + selected ISO
which means:
1. ISO is decreasing (from long to short) exposure time. higher ISO and faster exposure time:
- sort of picture quality balance
- sort of stabilization balance for shaky hands
2. you can see much more in very dark places. disadvantage: noise too

so raider EM and SEM hybrid are like a normal EM and SEM but say, "faster" ?
thank you. gonna try to use iso400 or 320 on night pictures, at bars and so... with EM. maybe the result comes "faster" without the shacky hands pictures? more iso, EM active (maybe less noise) but faster results ?
what do you think? |

thx mate! I must visit this place once again

yes, hybrids are faster but remember: speed vs. quality. in the bar flash EM with manual ISO is good idea if pictures won't be blurred. you can also try to compare results of auto mode flash (which will be ISO400) and EM mode flash (without and with manual ISO400). EM should have better color tones
rickymonkey
nice pics
forced flash -> turn on red eye reduction. if your pictures in sunlight will be overexposed then enable macro mode, this will reduce ISO400 to ISO100 and should help a bit
