whereas I have had the SP3, Jam and now k-jam and have been very pleased with them all.
I actually probably couldn't live if I lost my k-jam as its now physically a part of me I reckon!

ive just got a jasjar to keep me going until the P990. didnt relise how huuuuuuge it was until i compared it with a friends k-jam.
still,its a great device and will keep me happy until i get a P990

@Dicky Snapples
had the following problems with my Universal so now use my Nokia 9500 instead while I wait for the P990:
- weak BT signal
- delayed 'wake-up' for incoming calls
- data loss when you need to reset (e.g. lost emails)
- app failure after 'wake-up' when data file is on the SD card (e.g. MS's Reader app)
- poor battery life
But Opera really works well and WiFi and 3G inetgration are very good.

@Dicky Snapples, so you never looked at my comparison of the two when I was deciding which one to keep?
I'm still 100% getting the P990, I have to just so that I can again make the comparison between that and the k-jam so I can be sure I still have the best device for me
anyway, here's a pic from that thread showing the size difference you desribe

But there is a whole bunch of software for the HTC's that we will have to wait for months till we see the quarter of it for the P990. That really makes me think.
I was dissapointed with the N80 so I'm waiting for a long time for the P990. But now I'm thinking to wait perhaps for the HTC Hermes (O2 XDA Trion). I really don't n know yet. I'll wait and see. |

Sorry to call you out in the open ... BUT you've done EXACTLY what you claim you dont like. Look in the mirror before pointing the finger; that goes for all of us. I know these kinds of ppl really get to the nerves but it happens just dont let it get to ya.
Btw, everyone this same kind of action is what caused this very thread to be closed by masseur just days ago!!
I would be betting that just like the K750 that Mega Bass is there.
Just to note that the business card reader function of the P990 is no longer a unique ability as the new Asus P550 has this ability. But SE rendition I'm sure is refined.

Er got to say I disagree with you but on that one, I was defending EASTO as a place, if we do not let peole know what the standards are they will start to think they can come here and sow bad feeling like many other forums! so I dont feel bad about telling him to go elsewhere at all!
and out in the open is fine with me I like it here and dont want to see it get ruined
