hello all,
i'm quite impressed with all ur posts here in esato...i've just bought a t68i but before this i've been using t68 for about a year..thinking of buying a BT handsfree and a mca 25...if u all have great offer please inform me..thanks...i really enjoy reading all ur posts...hope can meet u all..btw i'm from penang...and one question..about upgrading the firmware...my firmware now is r2a..thingking of upgrading it to.. now its r6a rite???.. correct me if i'm wrong..but the problem is..i bought my t68i phone secondhand..all the sticker at the back of the phone has been teared up..so can i still upgrade the firmware of the phone at ericserv..??can somebody please help me....thanks... |

if not wrong there is only 1 shop opposite ericserve, corner lot. This saturday I will be going amcorp mall for palm gathering. Hope to see you guys are ericserve |

1. latest software for t68i is R6A. and for handset without local warranty. they will charge u RM50 for that upgrade.
2. MCA-25 and bluetooth headset. i think penang cheaper if u want those without local warranty. but u can get it at ericserv at RM699 with local 1 years warranty.

Welcome to esato.
I think the problem of upgrading the firmware without the warranty is you need to pay some charges. If I'm not mistaken, in this same thread someone mentioned about RM50 for every upgrade at EricServe. May be you can check with ES in Penang at Abu Siti Lane.

Welcome! Fulat is right, the upgrade will cost you RM50 at Ericserve.
@Guys,
Another offer from me, MCA-25 for RM320.... it is also from the T300 set. As I promised, you'll get copies of waranty and receipt. And, again, this is not my MCA-25.... it is my friend whom just bought the T300 set yesterday. Only interested one can PM me and I'll let you deal with my friend, OK. |

@alex ur offer is intriguing..but have to wait first..coz no money yet..just scouting around for the price...about the BT headset..is it safe to buy the underwater one..i've read somewhere in these tread that the firmware for this BT headsets also can be upgrade...if i buy the waterset set...the BT headset i mean...can it be upgrade too..and what is the difference when we upgrade..if like h/p i know that the phone will have more feature and faster..for the BT headsets what are the advantages...??

@alex i received something..i tried to open it in the mms inbox.. but..it says that the mms is coruptted..any solution...i'm using digi..i've sing up with nowmms.. and i have install the configuration i got through sms from nowmms...what's wrong with my phone...any oppinion... |

I'm using DiGi too. Don't worry... let's walk through the steps.
Go to Message>MMS>Option>Wap Profile>Select...
Make sure it is the DiGi or djuice.
Notes: See, if you used the auto configuration, it always uses the NowMMS wap gateway. I need you to ensure that you've set your Wap via GPRS with DiGi. Use/Select back this configuration. Then, go to NowMMS and try to sent yourself a Test MMS.
Also, make sure in the Message>MMS>Option>Message Server...
there is as address like Http://mms.now.com/username=password.
Most of all you must setup the WAP via GPRS first and use back this setting for your WAP profile. |

Did you check the setting I've mentioned. Another thing, you need to clear up your sent items in MMS to free up space if your phone is running out of space. |
