Duo = double something. We suppose they are cores.
Neo = new something. Software wise, Honeycomb? Hardware wise, 16mp, pico projector, etc?

We should learn by history (and the other rumour treads ) that we never get the super device we are hoping for. Duo will be new minis Im sure... |

Initially I thought the Duo stood for the two minis but then I started wondering why would they deviate from the term mini. What really makes me think the Duo is the dual core is their odd announcement of the Arc and their unveiling of the Play. It seems to me they are getting the interesting but not outstanding phones out the way to prepare for the real monster. I also recall that they are going to release four phones this quarter which makes the two minis, Arc, Play and Neo five instead of four.
Another interesting fact is the lack of leaks for the Duo.
Maybe I'm too much of a conspiracy theorist but something tells me this is their X1 or Satio announcement for this year.
Let's wait and see, shall we? You could be correct and I could be incorrect.
@tranced
It seems plausible that the Duo could refer to the dual cores isn't it?

Dont think DUO=Dual CORE.. Should be mini2 only.. I was really hoping NEO means something new but As mentioned by techradar NEO=vivaz2 so I guess duo means mini2...
It would be so cool if neo was some cool new device(hopefully not vivaz2) and duo for dual core.. Fingers crossed lets see what happene's ..

Flip? Clamshell, right?
Well, at this point is hard to believe. is using touchscreen phones and I don't think that would happen.

I would be very happy if you guys stopped calling those phones Vivaz2 and Satio successor. Satio and Vivaz was SE:s biggest mistake ever. Symbian S60 5th is the most crappy os I've ever used and so far away from SE quality as possible. Thank god they've cancelled the Symbian os. |

I dont think anybody would be interested with dual touch screen.. 1 large 4 inch screen is more than enough.. Dual screen is complicated..i personally dont like it..
The trend is all abt large single touch screen..its easy to use,handle ,operate or do multi task..

I've had similar thought as Dups. Whats left to present at mwc when all phones have been leaked and reviewed, which I don't think is an accident. I'm sure SE can keep a secret if they really want to. SE themself have said that 2011 is a year when hardware is really important, so it feels kind of strange if Arc is their best offer, especially when you consider what's going to be announced by samsung and perhaps htc. The pessimist in me still thinks that there won't be anything more highend from SE than the Arc in H1.
