give me the link so i can test it my self if it is really faster and no more noise i will try to implement it to my driver. |

OMG! I was thinking about the same thing but before reading this post!
My idea was the same: turning LED on, instead of a continuous light, the LED would only flash when we press the shutter half way down (when focusing). This would be a great mod. What do you think guys?? |

Seems your driver hasn't problem with focusing for MACRO=ON and distance 1-2m (like Krio 21.5). But sometimes for close distance focus is "missed". I think it is bcs of Fast Focus. Can you point the lines in driver to change it for Normal Focus?

i know it would be cool but its impossible to enable led from driver level 
i've tried that but it just wont work... (maybe chengrong will find the way? :/) |

do you want the driver without manual focus?
Realy - no. But I want in MACRO=ON and ZOOM=1.0 (Autofocus) to have not "fast focus" but normal focus - as i remember there is such options in focus features set...
