You're N73 must be trying to keep the 3G reception. Go to Tools- Settings- Phone- Network- Network Mode (should be on Dual Mode) change it to GSM, that should improve battery life well. N73 has a big 1100mAh batt so it should be giving a lot more life.

Congrats on your new S60
Go to http://www.ip-mart.com OR both you and Hobbs must register at http://www.prodigits.co.uk theres a great and VERY active S60 Forum there with cracks, keygens, keys, Emulators, ROMS etc. . . For s60v3 phones.

Perhaps you didn't charge the phone long enough when you charged it the first time...

So the 3G iPhone is unveiled. Hmmm....

@ Jenova:

Gucci's beat me to it; it can only be the N73 'hunting' for 3G reception that drains the battery that fast; setting it to GSM only, as Gucci suggested, will definitely make a significant difference.
It certainly did on my N73 and 7600.

@ gola:
Carphone Warehouse here now have the N78; they're cheaper too, at £279.95 (approx R4200 using the current exchange rate).

Ama
Finally, thanks it took them a while, and now it's a waiting game for us in SA. It's at a reasonable price too. Even though the $199 3g iphone 8gb is a giveaway...
