is USB 3.0 available in Z1?
snap 800 support USB 3.0. right?
No USB 3.0 in phones because current eMMC's are to slow to work with high speeds found in USB 3.0 |

love what Sony have done with their announcement at IFA!
Great Phone (check) - Honami (probably one of the best smartphones out there)
Great Range of accessories to go with it (check)
Great media services and cloud integration (check)
Sony have just established themselves as the 'Apple' of Android with all that! and that using more open and standard based technologies!!!
Kaz was right not to sell the Sony Entertainment...I like how they are integrating everything ONE SONY!!!!
Now that Honami is out
what are the realistic expectations of Honami mini?
Is it realistic to expect it to be pretty much Honami with these differences:
4.3" 720p screen
2400mAh battery
smaller body obviously
or do we expect any other downgrades (I really hope not)

720p 4.3" screen, with the same processor , with the z sized battery and Less camera pixel
Maybe the same camera of Z1 but not 20 mp
Maybe 16 or 13 |

Anything new on the Xperia Z2? I've been away for a while and last time I saw randomuser's rumor specs. Looking good to me.
Thanks. |

@maiaramdan Won't that mean the Honami Mini(should we call it Z1 Mini now?) outperform the Z1 in every aspect? |

IF that is really true, then you're suggesting that Samsung went for the very best SoC that they could get from Qualcomm at the moment for their flagship, that's a very good thing, and it puts a lot of things I've been wondering about the S800 perfectly into perspective.
Why don't you go stare at a digital clock? It seems like you have quite the hobby in watching numbers insignificantly rise.
The s800 is atrociously powerful 2.2gHz. Good luck seeing differences between the 2.2gHz one and the 2.3gHz.
Oh wait... BATTERY!
You will see a difference there. There, and in benchmarks.
Benchmarks?
On 4.2, the Z1 rivals the 'better' processor of the g2 and n3, the latter which is on 4.3. Once the 4.3 comes out for the z1, it should best the current scores for the n3. In other words, Sony being a new Sony (there's more than one company dreaming about having kaz as CEO out there) have made the most out of the battery and optimised what they have better than others. But unlike 2012, in terms of hardware, they're on par with or better than the competition.

Still annoyed that Sony hasn't put the best screen in the Z1. Yeah its got the Triluminos backlighting technology, but the actual LCD panel on top of it, doesn't appear to be as good as the LG G2, the HTC One or other competitors. Off-angle the colours shift noticably, and its retarded that Sony can equip their Vaios with stunning displays with perfect viewing angles, but not so with their flagship Smartphone. Its better than the Z, but that's not really particularly difficult. Its still worse than the competition.
Though I am massively tempted to get one, I'm going to hold off until I've had a look at one in person.
If not I might end up waiting for the 2014 flagship circa MWC 2014. |

Hey man, why are you like that!? Jin dig up some interesting information on SoC differences that we wouldn't know otherwise. He only presented the facts and he didn't deserve your reaction. Chill off.

the Note 3 has USB 3.0 support. eMMC is easily fast enough, and has been for years. |

Yeah except it doesnt work like that. The 2.2 (2.15 really) GHz chip runs on higher voltage than the 2.3 Ghz chip.

I like the white Z1.
I'm surprised people are looking at Mobile-Review's review, thought Nokia and Sony fans hated Eldar Murtazin.
EDIT:
Jubei
So the 2.2GHz S800 used by Sony is eating more power, is that why the Z Ultra had such a disappointing battery score at GSMArena? It got 52hours if I'm not mistaken, quite low for a 2013 flagship as compared to S4 and even Note2.
