heyy all
i dont know if this has been announced yet but...
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment to release 19 UMD video film titles on 1 September 2005, the same date as the PSP launches in the UK.
The films will include new release title xXx: The Next Level as well as diverse catalogue titles including Ghostbusters, SWAT and Bad Boys.
Following the successful launches in Japan and the USA, PSP will be available in a single version Value Pack, priced at €249 (£179). The PSP Value Pack contains an added-value package of accessories and entertainment content, including the PSP system with a pouch, 32MB Memory Stick DuoTM, Battery Pack, Headphones with Remote Control, AC Adaptor, Wrist Strap, cloth and a video/music/game Demo Disc including several non-interactive game demos.
A copy of Spider-Man 2, on UMD Video will be available free of charge to early purchasers of PSP, who register their system and order their Spider-Man 2 UMD Video through http://www.yourpsp.com, the official SCEE web portal for PSP.
PSP features a 4.3-inch, 16:9 widescreen TFT LCD that displays full colour (16.77 million colours) on a 480 x 272 pixel high-resolution screen. It also comes complete with built-in stereo speakers, exterior headphone connector and a range of input/output connectors such as USB 2.0 and 802.11b Wireless LAN, enabling users to connect to the Internet and play online via a Wireless Network. Up to 16 PSP systems in the vicinity can also be connected to each other directly in Ad Hoc Mode, allowing for Wireless head-to-head competition. In addition, Wireless capabilities will allow software and data to be downloaded to PSP and saved onto Memory Stick Duo.
PSP uses a newly-developed proprietary storage medium named Universal Media Disc (UMD). This high-capacity optical disc is the next-generation compact storage media, and although only 60mm in diameter, a UMD can store up to 1.8GB of digital data – more than three times the data held on a CD-ROM. A broad range of digital entertainment content such as high quality 3D games, music, movies, video clips and other media can be distributed on UMD Video.

wow, im a little late! haha sorry. i just got my PSP and saw it on gamewinners.com
i got a few questions... im reallllly sorry if they have been asked and awnsered... i just cant go through all 116 pages of this, and the search didnt help me.
1.) with WLAN, can i play against other players off of the internet? (like a xbox live type thing, without talking to eachother) i have WLAN turned on and set up, but when i search for multiplayer, noone is ever there. is noone just on playing my game? (midnight club 3)
2.) is there a way to browse the internet via wlan?
3.) next to the USB port, there is a little rectangle on both sides, then next to those rectangles, there are little circles. they are bugging me because i dont know what they are or lol. does anyone know what these are for?
i know i have more questions, just to tired to think. again i know these might have been awnsered, and im sorry.

multiplayer is only done when you are within 30 metres with someone else who has the same game...where as other games that have infrastructure mode can play online against the world via a wifi router or access point.........

Oh my goodness, I didn't realise there was a full version of lumines and the 32MB was just for those without a big Duo. Well it's now on the way down bit torrent lol.
I must have been under a PSP shaped rock recently not to know all this already!

Just got the Jap version of coded arms to work on my PSP via the MS DUO, looks like it is going to be a cool game.
the controls take a bit of getting used to though...
PM me if you want details of where you can download the ISO.
