Guess your assumptions with regards to the price are pretty reasonable. Don't get me all excited for nothing now. In that case, might as well ditch the whole contract thing, wouldn't want it vodafone branded. Anyway, mtn is probably going to get it before vodacom. check this out, lol http://stevenmcd.net/wordpress/2008/05/virgin-mobile-nokia-n78/

OMG! Some member at Prodigits who lives in Benoni also said that Virgin told him it was available and gave him choice of upgrading to either N81, N78 or N82, i never realy believed him,but now im having 2nd thoughts LOL! As Francois said maybe Virgin are smoking their socks R5400 also makes sense since Virgin offered the N81 at R5599.
Ye rather get it on MTN, strangely though a close friend of mine upgraded from his Voda branded W850 to an unbranded N82 on Vodacom lol.

haha, it's a conspiracy! ! ! R5400 is a bit too much, i might as well get the w960i, but then again the n78 seems to be way ahead of it... Maybe virgin does have it, who knows. lol, sock smokers, that's just crazy.

LMAO! who knows!
Ye R5000 is pretty steap. Lol with all the great releases coming i think you may regret the W960 especialy if you're planning to keep it for the next 2years, coming from a W900 i think a N78 is a better upgrade.
@ All
Does anyone know about the Vodacom Wlan/Wi-Fi packages? Please post a link or any details you know about it, thanx.

@ gola:
The UK's Carphone Warehouse are expecting the initial batches of the N78 towards the end of this coming week or early the following week.
It's definitely not in stores here just yet.

UK network 'Orange' is selling the HTC Touch for just 149.99 (approx R2200) on PAYG:

Would cost another 10 to unlock, but still damn cheap.

Just bought my sister a Nokia 6500 Slide.
We've got friends from East London SA arriving over here next week, so they'll be able to take it back for her.

It should be a great game. Im waiting for the one. That also looks like a good game. Im not really playing any ngage games. The price is way to high. I think its like 13 euro's for a game. Thats hectic. Thats like 100 bucks. I might be wrong. My math sucks. Lol. Talking about wifi. How do you get it to work on the n81. My laptop cant pick it up. And my phone cant pick up the laptop. I know its not the laptop cause iv used it before and it found the wlan that was there. Its just with the n81 that wont pick up anythin. Even wifi hot spots. Im off to cape town on monday. Got back from the kruger yesterday. We had a ball. I finally saw a leopard. Those are such beautifull animals. I would love to be a game ranger. Gettin back from cape town on friday. It should be cool

I just got home from work and Im very tired, and when you very tired you get very emotional.
I go onto the BBCNews Homepage and read a bit of the take on the whole 'foreigners' attack affair and I am F*CKING pissed at what Im reading and seeing.F*CK all those C*NTS who participate in this.
eg.A Mozambiqans house gets set alight. He runs out. They throw a brick against his head,he collapses, they douse him in petrol and throw him back in the burning house.
What kind of F*UCKING monsters does S*IT like that.
Then there is a photo of a man on fire and that just made me flip.
I dont want to hear or see anymore of this horror story.
But quess what....
Its F*UCKING happening out there and I dont want to pretend its not.
What the hell can you do.

There is only one person we can turn to HOBBS, that person is God. He will answer our prayers and give us a solution that will bring an end to these poor people's misery. As long as the world still has people who care, then things will be okay.

@ Gucci:
After reading the above, my amazing powers of perception (LOL) tell me you've indeed just come back from 'one wild party'...

roflmao Tsepz, beware the demon that lives underneath the bottle cap *hic*
I agree with you, Hobbs, this kak really is waaay over the top. There've been sporadic incidents here too, although nothing close to what's happening elsewhere. It brings to mind some of the gruesome stuff that went down in the 80's. A few friends and i were attached as observers to a unit from SANDF Group 6, and the scenes we witnessed... that shit stays with you forever, brother. What struck me as being very significant then, as now, is that people who are normally placid turn into latrine-pit-dwelling-scum-sucking monsters when the mob mentality kicks in. I swear, you can see the eyes glaze over and go all bloodshot, spittle flying as they work themselves into a frenzy.... God only knows the pressure the cops and army are under not to squeeze the trigger when confronted by such a mob. Eish man, it's a nightmare.
EDIT: I see that quite a few anti-xenophobia groups have sprung up on FaceBook. People are growing pissed off at the govt's inability to deal with this issue...
