The f/w upgrade is on the PSP website but if I were you I wouldn't bother, there is no real changes or improvements and at the moment v1.0 can play all homebrew s/w while newer f/w cannot

The reason i ask is that i brought space invaders pocket for the psp and when i loaded it up .. it said i need to have firmware 1.5 ver to play it. 
btw what is the home brew software and cracked games i keep reading that you can play on the psp and where do you get them from?

hi all!
borrowed wipeout pure over the weekend, and i must say the game is just sooo crap! the graphics r quite pixelated and event tho websites say its fast i disagree - just my opinion tho!
anyways i really need help on putting the game boy color/advance emulator on ma psp (v1.50) and psphackes etc are quite hard to understand, can anyone break it down for me? 
btw i already have a few .gba and .gbc files...

thats a pretty bad price. i got the value pack for less than that and with 2 games.
News:
Sony wins injunction against PSP importer
Online retailer ElectricBirdLand ordered to stop selling handhelds with immediate effect
Online retailer ElectricBirdLand was today ordered to cease selling imported PSP consoles with immediate effect after Sony Computer Entertainment won an injunction in the high court.
The judge ruled that the only practical course of action is to continue the interim injunction for a short period.
A new hearing will be held on July 18.

i had mine about 3 months ago and i gotta agree gr8 console !! i also recently brought 2 new games need for speed undergroung rivals and atv off road !! i got ridge racer with it already !! need for speed is a bad game and would recommend ppl to buy it |

Ive got ma psp!!!!! Its amazin! (i have it for a week already ) and still cant get enough of it!!! For right now i have one game that came with it Gretzky NHL. Im plannin to get the NFSU game i think its a good choice do you?Thnx
PS:So happy with ma psp, 2 dead pixels.Guys dead pixels is nothin to worry bout, its not noticable at all well mayb at 98% of time, atleast not in game play, so dont worry psp is AMAZIN!!!

hey guys, is it wrong to ask, who needs the PSP value pack on this thread? they are japenese version, but of course we already know they can play any game.
i wont go any further until im sure its cool. but i can get these all day and ship them DHL within 72hrs to anywhere in the world.

omg! i just HATE my dead pixel - it has totally ruined my gaming experience! It some fat red one right in the middle of the screen & is so bright you can even see it when there is a red image on the psp (like the red in the pixel fixer video)! i think i might just give mine back. Just my luck! Whenever i play ridge racer it is always on the car so you can always see it.... |

i am sure my psp has dead pixels but i can hardly make them out
i only noticed because i let the game run with the various trailers and what have you and i saw a dot in the bottom middle part of the screen
i guess i am lucky

lol u lucky! i always have the worst luck - my k700 had to get f***** with the f/w update, both my psps have dead pixels, my switch on ma 300 quid sony camera broke, i lost my half-penny coin ....aaargh!!

Just downloaded the 32mb version of Lumnies from PSPCRAZY website, works a treat when you install it on your DUO.
Its a shame the the sound is not working yet! Give them time though and it will work.
U should all give it a try
