ihe! hmm!, thank God that story came to an end, i thot it will never end, Ihe you sef, the lenght u go just to prove a point!.... Why not go and register with talent hunt show (www.house4.org) and maybe your talent of story telling will be brought to limelight.

Is it really safe to come out?? I came with the intention of reporting Ihe to the Mods if he refused to stop. Lesson: Never, ever, argue with Ihejirika of Proudly Naija. @Ihe My coments: Is it a true life story? Sounds like U were "involved". hello eveyone i said i'll be back. i see i've missed a lot. it took me allmost an hour read all i've missed. @ ihe Lucky's story is a sorry case, the way u narrated the story as if it actually happened 2 u. i'll be more frequent as from now and @ tilly thank 4 the txt message. proudly Nigeria.

Yesterday I read a report about Nitel and the problems it was having both financially and also with connecting Nigerians to their fixed line network. Question is will fixed line ever be viable, especially li urban centres or is the company doomed to fail?

The NITEL issue (like NEPA's) is a complex one. Years of neglect have eaten deep into their infrastructure such that it is likely to take ages and loads of funds for them to be able to offer any service that measures up. I can imagine that the more they pump in funds now, the more they realise how bad things are.

There is yet hope for NITEL, but the managers literally have to become miracle workers for anything good to come out of that leviathan. Same goes for our national electricity corporation NEPA.

@brix25: I guess we are on extended holidays I noticed that the SA thread is picking up fine. Jolly good show!

@all Nigerians: Anyone here aware of the e-NNOVATE 2005 expo that was supposed to hold yesterday & the day before? Been postponed to March 22nd & 23rd. All mobile enthusiasts should plan to be there.
