As I understand, there is a sync tool included to sync the address book with MS Outlook. Since OL2003, one can include photos on the address book "cards". Guess it's expected too much to hope these get sync'ed too?

hrmmm.. i was doing a lil search on google and i found myworldphone.com .. they're a US wholesale distributer... and they have the K700i IN STOCK .. selling for $540USD.... now my problem is do i wait 1 week .. potentially another month and save myself $50 bucks and get it from expansys or do i order it from this place for $540 and have it by friday of this week... (T_T)..

this is an economic question... what is my opportunity cost for $50?? (>_<)...

i'll have to think of this... and prepare for my online test for a job at ebay.com in California... wish me luck

how fast is your battery going out on your k700i? i made a few not to many phone calls today i have bluetooth on and i am running a defualt animated gif on the desktop that came with one of the defualt themes. and by about 7 pm my phone is on the last line in red. my t630 or even my p900 with an animated gif would not use this much battery. could it be a bad battery?

of course its only 900/1800/1900... which is fine by me.

850 improves signal i agree.. i got a free T226 from AT&T that uses the 850 band and it has much better reception than my T68i. My T68i however, which i got from AT&T the day it was released has the same bands as the K700i. Therefore u can definitely use it and with the K700i having better reception as a phone, it should not be a problem in my opinion.. and if its that bad i'll switch to T-Mobile

850 is just a north america band that AT&T and Cingular uses.. it doesn't mean that its better than the other bands at all.

(...as far as i know...)

oh a quick question if anybody has the ICA-25 carrying case.. is it worth getting? or just something u eventually toss aside and forget about...
.

On an added note.. i've just purchased my K700 on ebay for a buy it now price of only $480!!.. thanks to a tip... i should have it on friday

@djsaad1

the battery life seems poor to me. I have to charge every night, in another words the batery lasts half a day! The true is, on the other hand, I was first days (I have the phone since Friday 11/6) usin it heavily, but ....

Thanks TheRealSpawn for setting me straight, hehe, you are on to something, but so am I.

The P900 is not a competitor to Nokia 7610. The Nokia is for "trendy" people who likes gizmos, while the P900 is for "nerdy" people who like gizmos. The P900 is STILL to big to be comfortable having in you pocket, big but a great phone.

BTW the K700 screen looks "embedded" / "sunken" into the phone. I think this makes the screen look smaller then it really is.

The battery drained fast on my first day, down to about 20% left, probably because I used it for 12 hours straight testing all the features and listening to the radio constantly etc etc

yesterday, although I used it quite alot it the battery drain was much less significant and indeed only fell to about 60%

I suspect its just the usual case of needing a few recharge cycles to get to peak performance so I am not concerned

its interesting that they have only put a 700mAh battery (BST-25) in the K700 compared with the 770mAh battery (BST-30) in the T630 althought the BST-30 is probably 10% smaller

battery life is important to me too... its one of the main reasons i love SE!!.. my old nokias would crap out after about 2 hrs of talk time but w/ my T68i i would talk for hours n hours and still be going strong.. going for over a week w/o charging and still no problems.

so if the battery sux on the k700 i will be very disappointed. but hey.. anything's better than a nokia, samsung or motorola battery right?
