I second the sentiments expressed by Wanqa, Brix. Have a safe and uneventful journey, buddy, and may your sojourn abroad be enriching. (and you'd better invite us to the wedding!)

We've gone undercover, Wanqa, deeeeeep undercover... either that or the load-shedding/power cuts have reached ghastly proportions!

Just got back from the only Spur in the county of Essex, at Lakeside Shopping Centre.

P1i pic:

OK, how's this for a challenge? Wonder if they have anything similar at the Spurs in SA? And no, I didn't give the 64oz 'meneer' challenge a go...yet. LOL:

So the 17th, we went to the local go cart track for their monthly competition racing.

These beasts are like 10 horsepower and are water cooled... They race 3 heats with 2 warmup laps and 8 race laps.

@ Rhino:
64 ounces is just over 1.8kg.
I agree with Gucci, those are darn good minimoto racing pics. Wow,even got wavey disc brakes on the front. Was that at Phakisa?

@ Gucci:
Tks, boet.
LOL, nah I'm not that much into McD's; if you're ever in the UK, I'll take you to Burger King...although no McFlurry's there of course.

I guess it's a bit of a novelty going to a SA chain restaurant here, but yeah, I'm a Spur slut.
They don't have Monkey Gland sauce though; probably because of the handful of Spur restaurants in the UK worrying facing a wave of complaints from animal rights activists and people not familiar with the sauce. LOL, can you just imagine the Poms reading 'Monkey Gland Burger' on the menu...
Such savages, aren't we?
