I doubt the Lumias are part of the "leading smartphones" mentioned.

I read that, and I'm with you, Z1's camera for sure is great, that unsual sensor + BIONZ put it on a different level compared with most droids available

Yea Nokia knew about that earlier so they were sold after this statement xD


1020 is hardly a leading smartphone as far as overall sales/specs/performance goes

I think they meant the leading smartphones for every company

Like the S4 or Note 3 for Samsung and the 1020 for Nokia(Microsoft) and etc...

Idk maybe wrong but I think that's what they meant....

But you know words aren't enough .... some samples of the final product will do ;D

it's just a matter of time, few hours left, I have to sleep now...

BIONZ + 1/2.3" sensor will surely make this the best android cameraphone imho

Quick heads up to anybody wanting the Xperia Z1 on O2 in the uk. It will be available for pre-order from the 5th of September and anyone who pre-orders one will receive a free gift worth £180. I have know idea what the free gift is or when the release date is either. It looks like Sony are going all out with Z1 I really cant contain my excitement

Looks like there wont be an S-Master audio Chip! Why is it so hard to put one inside the phone? Maybe next year?

Well, it's the usual "image stabiliser" from the past. Was looking for the SteadyShot or anything else.

The dual ISP is inside the Snapdragon SoC, meant for graphics, gaming and videos.
