Not yet of update to ICS in Belgium either….

I use Sennheiser CX 215 and I just recommend them,
they're brilliant.

Thanks a lot for the answer !
I also would like to know if some people here are using really high end ear-phones as Westone, Shure,.........?

I could fix my signature, if you know what i mean . Or in other words: I could update my Xperia S two days ago, just when 4.1 was announced . Really like the update so far. Nice, selective improvement of performance and many other things. Good job, Sony.

Hi Detox,

which country do you live in?

Just wondering if anyone in the UK has the update yet. Off to check out XDA now!

Overall im happy with the Update now. Even though available RAM is Lower,it doesn't slow it down or crash. It does not lag at all anywhere.

Zurich, Switzerland .

The update was announced on the 21st and since then my SI-number was in the list. On the 26th, I received for the first time the information, that there is an update. However, everytime I tried to update, an error message occurred. The servers had to be strained excessively. Like I said above, it was not possible for me to update until the 27th, but then without any problems and buttery smooth . That is all from my Android update history, thank you for reading .

Nope.I believe it was due to the "Dont Keep Activities" option being checked under Developer Options :-\\.Like i mentioned earlier, inspite of the Low Available RAM,its all nice and smooth,no issues.BUT one nagging issue is when i click the "Phone" option to open the dailer,it takes a moment to open up gotta figure out why!

Updated to ICS. Did a fresh clean install.

Here are some observations:

1) Some nice new Live wallpapers seem to have been added

2) The new album app is simply outstanding

3) The Walkman app doesn't feel any different

4) The Swipe to remove individual notifications is really neat

5) Overall the phone feels as responsive as before. Neither faster nor slower

6) Been playing with ICS for past 3 days - Free ram hovers around the 160 -180 mark, but I do not have the screen refresh problem. The apps and widgets do not take time to appear - they are already there. Only in the photo widget sometimes It takes a few seconds for the photos to appear.

7) However I have this new status bar icon which i have no clue what it is. I cannot seem to remove it as It doesn't appear in the swipe down notification. It just remains there all the time. Any Idea what it is?

Thanks.
