Update: Someone involved with Sony Mobile just confirmed that the LT29i Hayabusa will be announced on June 19.

Another rumour has it that DoCoMo summer collection to be announced 7 days from now and Hayabusa might be announced as SO-04D (Xperia GX).

Okay, first press shot leaked. Hayabusa and Komachi:

If that is supposed to be Hayabusa then what was the other phone that was seen in the wild recently that looked quite different from this one?

What other phone? This is the only design we've been seeing as of late in leaks. BTW, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Sony continuing the green logo on Japanese phones at least for now and not on international phones?

The phone looks pretty sleek. I viewed pics of it beside the new Samsung Galaxy phone and the Sony was far, FAR sexier. I wonder when we'll get more detailed specs though.

I guess it'll be some time before we see anything about the Mint though I'm anxious to see what its aluminum body is supposed to look like.

On what process it is made on? If it is still 40/45nm generation, then I don't see how they can be a power efficient processor from other manufacturer that are now starting to use 28/32 generation process.

Where did you hear white magic was bad? God damn I had so high hopes for that technology

It's not bad at all
quite the opposite !

How about the power consumption of this display technology? I already hate Sony for going non-replaceable battery (and small capacity), and I just hate another technology that cannot save battery while improving quality.

Wait... what? I thought the GX was the Hayabusa. You're saying it's the Mint?
