Doesn't the iPhone have a document viewer as standard? For editing you need an app though. Apparently MS Office for iPhone is under development and I'm happy to wait for that. Hope it doesn't cost too much!

Ok, i'm now semi-addicted to Flight Control...(thanks guys!)

My best thus far is 46 but i'm working on it.

I have to say @masseur... what is wrong with you!! 196! That's insane!! Is it your pilot instinct helping you out here?

lol, I'm dissapointed. After I restored onto the replacement iphone, my high score was lost.
I've had a half dozen games since then and am back to 102 but I guess I'll have to try to break 200

Thats a bit of a dissapointment indeed. Shoddy that it didnt restore the data on to the new handset

I'm really gonna have to practise to get up to your levels i feel!

My iPhone is running 2.21 firmware and although I know at the moment it can't be unlocked will jailbreaking it cause any problems with future unlock potential

Now you've already upgraded your firmware to 2.2.1 the baseband version has changed to 2.30 (if you did this by official means ie using iTunes... i say this as you can update the fw to 2.2.1 using Pwnage tool and preserve the 2.28 unlockable baseband)

Jailbreaking your 2.2.1 wont make any difference to the baseband version now, so feel free

There is a baseband downgrade solution, however your handset has to have been manufactured pre-September 2008 to have the right bootloader version

I got the the handset, used ,with 2.21 on , so i dont know wether it came like that from new or wether it was upgraded via itunes. So jailbreaking will make no difference at all ? Im almost certain it was manufactured after sept 2008

Nup, jailbreaking will make absolutely no difference to the baseband/unlocking potential whatsoever. The 2.30 baseband will eventually be broken down by the Dev-Team so hang tight, an unlock solution prob wont take too long.

I'm still using my little sim thing that slots in with the sim card when I need to use another sim (like back in Australia last week)

so far its worked across all firmware/baseband updates without the need to worry

Has there ever been any instability with dropped connections? Also with 3G?
