Charles,
I just tried earlier on the street right next to a busy road, the reception was loud and clear but it lost connection couple of times, not sure whether it was due to my T68 low on batt. Will be trying again soon with full batt just to make sure. Besides the lost connection, sound quality is good. |

Actually I did not ask any questions on the phonebook issue... lol... But well, the bug in my phone happens this way:
ABC's number is in my phonebook. By right, the phone should recognise the number stored and show me ABC's picture and play the assigned ringing tone. Sometimes, the phone does not and it only shows ABC's number without the pic and assigned tone, which means that the phone thinks that this is a new number...
Hope that is much clearer... Though I don't really mind this problem...

Dumbo,
How about the people you speak to? did they complain about the reception?
Orang3,
I am interested in Bluespoon but till now it is not released yet I wonder when it will be released. Also that one seems to be more expensive than Motorola and Ericsson's headset.

Charles,
So far no complains about the reception from the people I spoke to using the HBH-30, somehow I noticed they did not find anything different in the sound quality they are hearing, for example usually when I am using the regular SE handsfree, they will know that I'm using handsfree judging from the sound quality they hear and most times I have to speak louder or repeat a few times. I tested the HBH-30 by calling people on their cellphones, corded fixed phones and cordless phones, somehow none noticed anything unusual in the sound quality. On my end, there are occasional static in the background but not serious enough to distort the reception. There is still the issue of losing connection standing right next to busy traffic. I also found that the stated distance of 10m between the HBH-30 and T68 no true, the most I could go was only 4m max (no blockage) and with bad reception, beyond that and connection was lost. |

Ok guys i just got myself a HBH-30 as well for $276 at Kallang Pudding SE. Initial opinion of this HBH-30 is it is shorter than i expect but still longer than my motorola BT Headset. I have no problem putting on HBH-30 and it is as light as motorola's one. When i face mirror though, i still prefer motorola's headset to this HBH-30.
Well i immediately tried calling my customer while walking to the bus-stop. No complaints from him and voice reception is certainly louder than motorola's Headset. I then call my wife from my office which is undergoing renovation and she said my voice is clearer than motorola's headset. She can however hear the background renovation noise but she had no problem picking up my voice.
Can't say much about the battery life because i just got it. My motorola can last for a week if i do not make calls so often. If i do call often, it can only last me a day. Let's see how long HBH-30 can last.
Build wise, both are as good. I still like the look of Motorola's BT headset, unfortunately it's voice reception and volume are not as good as this HBH-30.
Just my humble opinion of the two most popular Bluetooth Headset in the market right now.
