It's quite sad this thread got ruined by certain members here at esato. But from the posts I've read and pics I've seen of the Z, I can quite say that there are either two types of screen, or different software calibrations. A lot of posts are exaggerated here really, true king-james is upset that he got a bad screen Z, but saying everything is also bad including build quality is a lie, build quality has already been proven by many drop test, water test videos.
Next, the camera also became an argument, some say it's terrible, some say it's very good, So far from gsmarena's samples, especially the macro shots, I would say it's a good camera, people posting pictures with smudged details they might have forgotten to turn off image stabilization which we all know ruins fine details of the pictures, although I would want someone with a Z here to confirm that in a fair and unbiased way.
Now what else? the loudspeaker, a lot say its rather silent so I guess this is true. Battery's first test according to Gsmarena says it comes out pretty decent, it all relies now on how you use the phone.
Before someone says to me "but do you have the phone yourself?" have you yourself tested it?" my reply would be: I do not need to have it and test it myself to prove it, true it adds more credibility if I have it, but my basis comes from facts that had already been tested by people who had the Z that posted samples of it (screen and camera samples), review sites who published their review on the net.
Funny thing is someone here proceeds to buy the Z, then suddenly complains the hell out of it, would have been okay if he explained logically why he hated something he bought, but that did not happen. Then suddenly out of nowhere other members post something like this:

Now have to wait for 1 more week, hopefully. Sony PLEASE LAUNCH ASAP!!!!
I was in touch with one of the dealer and he says he has got good amount of orders for XZ. People are waiting for this phone.

I agree bro,but lets give a hope 2h phones should beat the s4,Sony did a wonderful job,most people wont care about speaker or screen,however only techies will check,so dont worry and you can sell your phone right now and buy s4,but dont shout its bad.....its releasing world wide,and for speaker xda forum guys change teh audio drivers will wait for teh right drivers:) untill then move on.

discussion is healthy. talking good about one thing all the time is boring. there are positive & negative sides of every thing. face it. not only sony but also samsung has it's own negative points too.
it's stupid to fight which phone is the best. don't do that. it's a waste of time. fight for innovation. fight with sony & samsung to come with something that you really desire. XZ is out in the market there's nothing you can change. either you buy or you don't. when it comes to likes & dislikes, it's a personal taste. some people don't care about viewing angles some do but that does not make a phone good or bad.
the best phone in the market is the only phone which has the best innovation and technology. that's what it truly speaks. everything has to be top notch, right from build quality, design, UI, hardware, camera, display. EVERYTHING. and please don't tell me there's a top notch phone in the market. we still don't have a top notch phone yet. fight for that!

We still don't know if that's the Indian version. I spoke to few retailers they saying it will come by March 12 - 15. Don't know what's going on
