of coz R5 and R6 have their own function, but since K790I/K800I/K810I used R6 when they were released till now(R8) so the camera will use R6/R8 code only not R5......

For instance:
seq_set_prop_a_1 =
$c9 08 // R5 <<< not using these
#COM_EVENT(72,00) // Update the registers
#READ_REG(28,$r2 5 5) // Read AE-value (MSB)in camera reg 28
$>5 5
$p4 10 // Put value of scene property in reg 4
$c4 07 // Document mode?
// AF-LED OFF in document mode
$cl
$c4 06 // Sports mode?
// AF-LED OFF in sports mode
$cl
$c5 00 // AF-LED ON?
$go 37 1 // Set gpio 3:7 (AF-LED) to high (one)
$cl $cx
$cx
$cx
$cl//else R6 <<< R6/R8 use these
$ce 01 // AF-LED for IS_MOVIE_MODE?
#COM_EVENT(72,00) // Update the registers
#READ_REG(28,$r2 5 5) // Read AE-value (MSB)in camera reg 28
$>5 5
$c5 00 // AF-LED ON?
$go 37 1 // Set gpio 3:7 (AF-LED) to high (one)
$cl $cx
$cl // Not IS_MOVIE_MODE
#COM_EVENT(72,00) // Update the registers
#READ_REG(3a,$r2 5 5) // Read AE_FLASHINFO_STATUS
$p4 10 // Put value of scene property in reg 4
$c4 07 // Document mode?
// AF-LED OFF in document mode
$cl
$c4 06 // Sports mode?
// AF-LED OFF in sports mode
$cl
$c5 03 // AF-LED ON?
$go 37 1 // Set gpio 3:7 (AF-LED) to high (one)
$cl $cx
$cx
$cx
$cx
$cx
#COM_EVENT(42,01);

4.6 beta camdriver

- Turn on the AF-LED of document mode when dark
- Exposure value will decrease when flash is auto or red eye
- Contrast & exposure value increase back when flash is set to off (manually)
- Change flash color
- Sharpness 03 when no need flash, sharpness 02 when flash needed
- Portrait mode sharpness 04, twilightlandscape & landscape & Beach scene mode sharpness 02
- Correct nightportrait WB when flash on ( no more warm / yellow color )
- Video recording 17.5 - 18 FPS

Here is it:
http://www.4shared.com/file/2[....]5/camdriver0_46_beta_gnus.html

Not yet test for it, just beta version

This may my final camdriver, remember, the exposure & contrast will increase when you turn off the flash.

@quangbh30
Which mode do you use for the third picture? It seem got little red color, tell me so that i will know which mode got problem.

The noise will reduce if we reduce the sharpness and JPEG compression.

@SEKseries
Yup, you correctly state it out, i just dont know how to explain for it

Normal mode

When flash is set to auto

When flash is set to off

Sure like that, even u use 2.5 driver, the wood furniture absorb light with wide wavelength, so this cause much noise because it is dark.

i didnt touch any about noise, in camdriver didnt have any that setting for reduce noise, the phone firmware were determine for it, you can try with 2.5 driver, it also worse, but because 2.5 jpeg compression much lower (90%), so it give less noise ( blur picture).

If this give worse noise, i think the other will much worse, because my sharpness alrdy set lower to 02 and jpeg compression 92%.

Anyway, we should consider the 90% default jpeg compression.

For distance more than 1m, you can choose infinity focus mode, because at dark place, hard to focus.

I think we can set back the default jpeg compression 90% and try and see the result for the noise problem. But i think i just can help little, because the picture as you take, the chair and the table, this kind of thing will give much noise, i also got try many before.

Who cares about noise? Just pick a longer shutter speed and reduce the ISO? Is the code for chaning the shutter speed already working? Because, quite frankly that is THE way to reduce noise.

Until we can get it working, use NeatImage, you can reduce most of the noise with that if not all of the noise with ISO's < 500

Noise Ninja? Where can i get this tool?

@Genus: Geat work, i've told this before, but
I recognize, that your driver have really more noise as gprsman's driver.

I compared your driver with gprsmans driver and found out, that he activate the noise filter from night portraid mode for the normal-mode and the results indoor pics are great with no noise. You have to try it and fix it in your driver!

But your driver, genus take tbetter flash pics.

So i for myself, took gprsmans driver with fix contrast from 1 to O and take genus flash seittng into gprsmans driver and the result is great. Good outdoor and good indoor, without noise and now good flash pics.

Thank you genus and gprsman, for your work.
