Funny you mention that. I was talking to my brother in law's future brother in law ( ) and he was saying how awesome GRID online is. But then he did say that everyone ganged up on him in some kind of demolition derby mode, so that doesn't sound that great in retrospect.

oh i played the demo dicky its cool, i lile the way if u play it online and pause it the AI will controll ur person till u come back, and the zomboes are never in the same place thats cool |

I've played the demo to death lol, it's awesome. I always thought I'd be no good with 1st person shooters on a console, but this has totally changed my mind.
Deffinetly getting it at some point.

Lol sorry, I dunno if it applies to the rest of the country, but it's always been well known to me, my friends, and pretty much most people I've spoken to that NFS games are pretty much "vroom vroom chav it up" games, with little skill or actual gameplay.
The only one I got into from the "Nu Wave" NFS games (ie not the good old one, like NFS 2 and NFS 3:Hot Pursuit) was NFS:Underground, which was pretty much a "slap pretty things on your car and go vroooooom" game
