Well I have had an S and a T and the Z screen is slightly better in my opinion the grey UI just makes it look a little different. |

Worf, I don't need to compare. I have enough phones here at home! I know what I am talking about...
If i read your post, you are still complaining about it, why are you complaining about?
I know that some of Z screen is just shit, but you need check out by your self comparing with the T and Z togehter at the store and then comparing those screens, it's not difficult.
Instead, you are crying here come on, if you know what you talking about you won't came here and crying the hell out here just like other people here do
And if you have a bad screen, just send him back to Sony and you get a new one with the good screen, it's not that hard.

maybe all screens are the same. Unfortunately, black and white version of xperia z here has different screen type thats why i easily noticed it.

Please do, seems those two will be THEE Android flagships to have in 2013 until the Note3 arrives.

Why do you have to quote all the time ?
Regarding CPU:
Like us, an employee of Qualcomm has confirmed the MWC booth in Barcelona, ββit is the supposedly new Snapdragon 600 only, and a kind of remake of the older Snapdragon S4 Pro with four cores - Technically, the old S4 Pro (model without wireless APQ8064 modules or model MSM8960 with GSM-/3G-/4G-Modul) and the current Snapdragon 600 (APQ8064T) completely identical, since they have at least the same core, same graphics unit and the exact same memory. The memory interface and other features are the same. The only slight difference is that the Snapdragon 600 through its finer production gets a slightly higher maximum clock: instead of the S4 Pro 1700 MHz, there are up to 1900 MHz. Qualcomm will also in future be both externally and internally no longer the names as S4.

Hey worf, I just want share my opinion.
I just try to help users and just want tell them the truth.
And notice, you can only buy Z with this screen...
I don't invest my money or time in the ugly T. I wanna try the sexy TX one time.
Tsepz_GP: Okay, I try it.

Doesn't explain why the Z is/was sold out in certain markets. And HTC won't sell many units...
Regarding the Z display issues, then I seriously think if someone is crying over a faulty display, they are doing something wrong. Why not replace the device? I agree Sony shouldn't let this happen. Someone has already mentioned Riyal's thread on XDA and how the displays are the same, just some software is different and might later be updated.
I've seen the Z in person, and the display is amazing. If I had a faulty display, I would replace it. |

I didn't talk about selling units... I just spoke about the phone.
Forget what I said, buy what you want.
I just said my opinion, for some maybe helpful for some not.
Have fun with the Z.

There is nothing wrong with the wifi and the loudspeaker. Battery is average like any other phone. Don't know if the led is any good. The cam is superb, better than the iphone 5. The materials are bad??? This is the most durable high end phone there is. Waterproof, dustproof, shatterproof and so on. There are enough torture tests on youtube that prove it can withstand drops and sand.
This whining is really getting boring. At least get your facts right. The only negative thing this phone has is the display. And even then it seems to depend from model to model. |

@King-James
I wasn't even referring to you for most of that comment, mainly the person who quoted you. I would be annoyed if I got a faulty device (in terms of display) but I would try to get a replacement.
@etaab
And the troll of the year goes to...You!
Well done. It seems Samsung fans copy Apple fans just like Samsung copies Apple.
About the Z. This will be Sony's best selling phone since a long time. And it will sell a lot and well. People will forget the HTC One very soon, it will not sell better than the Z. Sad to see HTC decline so bad. At least Sony are on the way back up.
The flagships of Sony this year will set up Sony to be the most widely acclaimed phone maker of 2014, similar to what the S2 helped Samsung achieve. The difference is Sony will do so without blatant copying and by making attractive and premium quality devices instead.

Thanks.
Now I have the question:
CAN HTC and SAMUNG lovers go f... themselves and move to respectable threads or forums?
Please, I don't want to be more harsh but we don't need here whining pussies anymore.
So @King-James, @Tsepz-GP and other guys who never touched the device and come here only because they have too much spare time, you got the info?

I'm impressed! Screen is fantastic. I was worried reading all these comments about the screen being washed out etc. Not anymore! And viewing angle is actually great. So I don't know what the fuss is all about all this time.
I also compared the screen with my Galaxy S3, and the only difference is Xperia Z has got a cooler tone overall (most apparent when displaying white colour).
Browsing the homescreen, app drawer, and other menu is really snappy. Changing themes is a breeze.
I'm getting this phone when it comes out here. So excited!
hmm glad to see this but did you used it at 100% brightness??
thanks
It was on Auto Brightness when I took the pic. But I did the comparison with my Galaxy S3 with both on max brightness. I was ready for the Xperia Z to show washed out colours but it didn't. It was great!
So... Anyone knows anything about the text/image clipboard? Is it actually a Samsung's Touch Wiz thing rather than an Android feature? |
