Just found out about this little battery saver app for devices using Qualcomm Desperation Processors and thought I'd give it a go since jellybean is a bit battery hungry

As of now it's probably the same as ics but the battery does drop by about 5% when I first take it off charge in the morning and start using it, I think jelly bean calculates the power consumption differently. I just hope this new battery app works, I only found and installed it this morning and it says its still learning, but the developers do say it can take a few days to start working though.

Yes mate I do it's strange though, the battery will drop quite quickly down to about 90% but then it will slow down and hold it's own

You really need to let the system settle in for a few weeks before doing anything.
Battery app's and task killers can do more harm than good. |

I wouldn't recommend any batt savers. They are crap imo
and mess with the device.

I'd normally agree with you doministry but the Qualcomm app works differently to most other 'battery savers' which aggressively force close apps and background services regardless of whether they are harmful to the system, whereas, the Qualcomm app is very similar to the battery saver feature in Xperia Z which allows controls battery usage by restricting data polls and only allows you to control what won't effect the system stability.
I'l report back with my findings from using it on my TX.
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

Well here's the reply from the devs regarding the sudden battery drop in battery guru,
"Hi Derren, thanks for your feedback. We have tested this today and we are finding a problem on this device, our testing is showing that the BatteryGuru Wi-Fi Management feature is somehow causing problem on that particular device with that version of Android. For now we recommend disabling the Wi-Fi management option in the BatteryGuru settings. We’re investigating at the moment and expect to have resolution next week."
Thanks again,
Snapdragon BatteryGuru Team
So it would seem we need to disable the WiFi management until the update next week

Not me, I've never tried that one.
