@nrich
Points 11 & 25 - Had a very similar problem today. After weeks of working flawlessly my email just stopped automatically downloading. Looking in Destinations my wifi access point had somehow become the default access point rather than Internet (the group which holds my wifi and mobile access points). After checking and rechecking every setting I finally fixed it by resetting Internet as default. Don't know how it occurred but it works again now.

I have a couple of questions for those who have and use the Satio :
1. how long does the battery last ?
2. is the wi-fi signal reception better than in the C905 or N82 ?
3. is the loudspeaker louder than the one on the C905 ?
4. how resistant is the screen to scratches compared to phones like C905 who have scratch resistant screens ?

What are you talking about?
It says "Hands on with Sony Ericsson Satio in 720p HD video."
Where do you see anything related to Satio recording 720p?
Aaaaahhhh.....
Thank u!
Sorry my ignorance! =D

Well so it seems that the most obvious bug right now is the long vibrating before ringing thingy.
How SE could release a phone with such hideous bug

@ HxH
Is the ring delay bug dependant on the format of the ringtone file type?
For example WinMo phones had similar issue. Using WAV files alleviated the problem. Maybe same sort of issue???

well I would agree, there is just a sound delay, nothing to do with vibrate, maybe the size type of file is the problem or even where it is stored, make sure ringtones are on the internal drive |

@ radu:
1. depends on usage, not that much as on c905 tho
2. yes it is stronger
3.it is not, it sucks as C905s does (maybe even morE)
4.cant tell u that, but mine is w/o scratches so far

I know, that these questions are not exactly the most important ones you can come accross, but still, does anyone have any sort of answer for them?
Thanks a lot!

1, In the "product communication" video, Satio has the same bacground picture, as it came with mine, but it is animated. Is it possible to use animated pictures as a background (like it was with the K750i) and it is, does anyone have that particular one, visible during the ad?
2, Does this phone support the BT remote function, like most other SE phones? If not by default, is there a free or cheap solution for remote controlling media player, desktop, etc. via Bluetooth?
3, Anyone knows a timer for this phone (again, like the one in A200 SE phones)?

Using a ringtone from internal storage is a little better but you still have a gap of 2 secs.
This was not the case with W995 so i't's not in SE habit to do it,I hope they will repair it

I sent some Q's to SE support earlier.
One of the questions I sent was regarding flash (animated) wallpaper.
I also pointet to the video that is included in the phone "Product Communications Video" (after 44 sec.)
The answer I got was (in swedish)...
"10. Bakgrunden i telefonen har ingen animering så det verkar tyvärr vara filmen som visar fel.
Translated...
10. The background in the phone don't have any animations so it seems like it's the video that is wrong.

I had a similar problem when I had the Symbian based Nokia 5530xm. When the phone would ring there was a delay then the ringtone would jump part of the song whilst ringing
Phone?? What phone?? |

As the Satio is a Series 60 device, not A200 as used by ordinary Sony Ericsson handsets (WinMo excepted), there are loads of things you can't do on the Satio.
In fact, the only thing that is in any way similar to a standard SE phone is the media menu.
