Forgive me if i sound rude, but what is with the huge importance of being able to transfer sms from one phone to another?! What kind of sms do you NEED to have on your phone?
If all else fails you could just c+p the important sms into a free online sms service and send them to your phone?

hey numb! thanks for the effort! I just tried it on my friend's T610... works like a charm! Thanks so much for introducing that wonderful piece of software to us.
Carman, it's just a convenience thing. Personally, I'm an SMS hoarder. I keep SMS for easy access to info received... directions to someone's house... meeting times... agreements made (these can serve as informal contracts) ... and sentimental attachments.
And for these purposes, the original SMS format... time/date/sender are important.
Cutting and pasting to the "Notes" doesn't offer the same level of sorting and searching as keeping it in the SMS folder.
The P-series phones have this feature built-in. For some of us, we've gotten used to having it, and would like to have a similar option.
It isn't a big deal really. It's just nice to have. Kinda like a MP camera. It's nice to have... but for some users, a more important feature than others.

Noticed one thing about FMA (2.0.0.19) & MyMobileExplorer (1.1.3 beta) regarding SMS's - neither of them show the date/time against my sent texts, only against the received ones. |

sort of offtopic but since we're on the topic of sms
anyone know how to copy asian text (Chinese/Japanese..etc) to the computer ?
if I use fma or the other programs the text shows up as ???????
I probably can do it if I set my windows unicode to chinese or whatever language but isn't there a unicode sms or backup program for k750 ? (I tried my phone explorer and sony one as well they both didn't work)

Do anyone know if the K750i have the same anti-stripe treatment than the S700i?
This is very effective on the S700i screen |

sorry, i've already purchased a sony k750i, and when i tried to transfer some mp3's files i realized that the transfer speed throgh usb cable is too slow. I transferred one mp3 in 5 minutes,is that normal or is the phone that is broken or something?

are you sure you're not transferring it to the internal memory? |

transfer to the internal memory via sony ericsson filemanager is only seriel speed, transfer to the exsternal memory listed as removable drive in normal filemanager is usb speed.
use the external memory for storage of mp3, if you do need something to be stored on the phone, then transfer to the external memory first, then move it to the phone using filehandling on the phone, its much quicker.

I've accidently droped my k750i on a ceramic floor, and fortunately there were no scratches or broken parts, but, I've discovered that the joystick became less responsive, meaning, in the past a slight tap would move the highlight in the menu, but now i noticed that i have to press harder. My question is, can this be repaired? how much will it cost? does SE does it for free? Its not really annoying, so do you think a repair is worth it? |
