You know when if first saw that picture, i thought it was an old B&W mono colour screen. It looks like the screen from a 3210

the competitors of the k700 are phones at the same price, the features are important but price will dictate what it competes agianst then features take over.
if it cost £300 and the nokia 7610 costs that tehn its competition as anyone with £300 will have a chose to make same with the siemens .
you dont just buy what has features you buy what you can afford

Why are the S65 better than the K700 ? you say it has better screen - not true - it has a larger screen, but with fewer pixels (132x176). K700 has a smaller screen with higher resolution (176x220) - this makes the screen of the K700 sharper. So the S65 screen is not better - only bigger. The S65 only has 11mb onboard memory - K700 has 41. Yes I know the S65 has external memorysupport - but it doesnt play mp3 or wave so the external memory is only for storing pictures and nothing else. S65 also does not have a Radio. S65 also does not have BT - which means I cant use my BT headset with it.
The K700 is also smaller and more stylish imho - S65 is to big for my taste.

What it does have is a higher resolution camera - thats about it - but Im buying a phone that can take pictures, not a camera that can make calls. Allready have a superb Canon digicam and never use the mobilecam - so mpixel mobilecam is almost irrelevant in my case. And Im buying the overall problemfree functionallity of the S//E phone. Working software, good support, Synchronisation, restrictionfree BT/IRDA, Themes etc. etc.

All in all - I have to disagree that the S65 is a better phone. Its a nice phone - not better - just different than the K700 in which functions are emphasized.

And the N7610 ?
Oh I wont even begin with that one - thats "just" a n6600 with a new ugly ugly design, a terrible keypad, and a 1mpixel camera. I like the n6600 better.

BTW: Great to see that SE included the "Missed call" and "unread messages" icons on the standby screen.

does anyone remember how to do the call list trick? where it made your call log in order by last call like the nokia phones. I want to try this out on the k700.

*nevermind i figured it out. I just did edit before call deleted the number and put just a + sign there. After i hung up the call the call list was in order by last call.
