Let me guess - wouldn't have been a Bengalboy review by any chance?
Hopefully the P990 launch isn't that far away now that SE appear to have launched the M600 - the coming soon has now be removed from it on the SE UK site. |

Not really bad news though is it? Reports have been saying for a while that you'll see it July/August for network branded versions (and Three like to brand and lock down handsets more than most), and June, early July for SIM free versions.
With the M600i now having had its coming soon removed from the SE site I would have thought the P990 is not far away.

Yes, but the most obvious contry to get it first, Sweden, still has it on its coming soon list....

But obvious is not always correct. Appart from the fact you CAN get them from Sweden already! lol.

From what I can see the big (volume) markets for 3G handsets are Italy and the UK - so it is no surpise the UK SE site seems to indicate the M600i has been released. But expansys.com don't seem to have a availability date and play.com have not included it on their site yet.

Yeah, it was going to be available from the 28th and on, but we are talking about the release of the p990, and that soon will be in august or very late July.

May be obvious, but as others have stated the UK is an important 3G market, and afterall SE's global HQ is in London anyway.

Are you talking about Sweeden or the UK? I don't think the unbranded version will be as late as August - certainly not in the UK at least.
