About that "Honamini" photo you all went scientific about: I made a simple comparison with my Z:

As you can see it's simply the Honami. The volume and camera buttons could have revealed this too, they would be waaaay too small on a smaller device. |

no, it's not. his z is smaller, no need to be a scientist. you can see that because the usb cable head of the honami is smaller then his usb head. and if you do zoom in a bit on the honami pic (which will be accurate size of the usb head) then z will be slightly smaller. it is the honami.

Well then I might have needed to zoom just a little bit more but once again I am 100% sure this image is Honami. Look at the power button, volume rocker and distance to the camera key! (And the audio jack, and I can go on.) |

Esato can get dangerous sometimes. Specs mentioned here by 'trusted' sources are always better than what we get in the end. Most of it are wishlists.
Don't expect any revolutionary stuff. Don't expect a smaller phone with the same (or nearly the same) specs as Honami. They can't bend the laws of physics. If Sony could make the internals of Honami any smaller than they are you would have had a phone with less bezel.
And please don't jump to conclusions from specs leaked on one site. We know nearly nothing about any other phone than Honami. We know there are more phones on the way, but that's all. We don't know their display sizes, processors, camera modules, nothing.
So just wait it out and don't disappoint yourself, since that's all you're doing.
(A good rule: if it's not on XperiaBlog it's likely not true.)

Now now, not this arguing again. May I remind you what you said about the lenses (please say no, there's way too many pages to go through)...
Everyone knows specs change, and to get over excited is foolish, that much is clear too. Hence, they are called rumours on a rumours thread.
Some are right more often than others. Some may be wrong more often, but will reveal a significantly larger amount of correct information. In the end, as long as we don't cry over lower specs, then it's okay. I didn't follow the 2011 thread, but I'm sure all this was made clear in the 2012 thread...
Remember knowing the Z specs by November? Certain insiders were calling them ludicrous then... Especially the processors... They were badly wrong. Contributors to XB aren't infallible.

From what we heard, Honami has same screen problem like SXZ. I hope this time it is just prototype problem. I want SXZU screen quality. |

I know what I said about the lenses, but that was in reaction to what people were saying too. Interchangeable or clip-on lenses on Honami with a mount system, which is not the case. The lens-camera's aren't Honami-related, they're from a completely different department. |

Note: whilst that part of the comment WAS in reference to you, the rest wasn't as specific. I just don't want another useless war over this. And I believe the pages of crying at announcements due to getting over excited earlier are not the fault of the insiders, I was just reiterating that it's a rumours thread, so people that claim and negate things shouldn't be in the firing line, it isn't their fault. |

yeah, in the leaks where honami's screen is on it looks like the z screen - now, you will say "it's because of the blurred photo shoot" - no, it's not a good excuse, different quality of screen needs to be noticeable even in blurred photo. i hope it's cause of they didn't implement trilluminos in those prototypes or whatever. trilluminos is (still) not the best in terms of blacks and viewing angles, but it's a good progression over the z and overall it looks like a better screen then s4 and htc one, imo anyway, you can see that when "tech radar" compared z ultra with them. better colors, more lively.
