You cannot create your own folders. You could try Floats Mobile Agent though to backup old SMS messages.

You can save SMS messages to the SIM.

I dont think so.

I think the idea of using the SIM on the K750i is basically to archive important SMS messages only, and not to be able to transport them.

Like i said, if you really want to backup SMS messages, you need to do so on your pc.

Well, ya... I know... I was just hoping since the P-series had this feature. I was able to migrate my SMS messages from my P800 to my P910i... so in my SMS folder, it's as if I had my P910i was back in 2002

I was wishing SE would allow SMS archiving and restoration on their regular phones. Specially now that memory is no longer an issue.

I know it's not a big deal, and doesn't make the K750i a bad phone... like I said, I was just hoping. I know I can back-up on my PC... but then it'll be on my PC... and not easily accessed anymore from my mobile.

If anyone figures out a way to import SMS into the K750, please post it here. Thanks!

Does anyone here have this software?

http://www.macmedia.sk/pa.htm

It claims to work with the K700i... which I'm hoping it means it works with the K750 as well.

It states that it allows you to save SMS TO the phone!

Can anyone confirm this?

numb... so you can (for example) save SMS from another phone, then move it into the PHONE memory of the K750i???

Can someone with a K750 please verify if transfer of SMS from PC back to K750 phone memory is possible? Thank you in advance!

eh, I just wrote in the post above that I allready tried and it worked.
Why do you nead others to test also, dont you beleive me ?

I moved an sms from the phone (K750) to the archive on PC, deleted the sms on the phone, transfered the sms back from the archive on the PC to the memory in the phone, you can select to transfer it to unread inbox, inbox or saved messages on the K750.

I dont know if you can transfer sms from a different phone to the pc archive and then to the phonememory of another phone. I dont think so.

just making sure... might've been a fluke with your setup.

moving SMS from the SIM back into the phone memory is something a lot of people have been asking for, for quite a while.

this new SW you found is the answer to a lot of prayers. (Although I can't really understand the site, I can more or less make out what it's trying to say)

thanks again numb!!!

so far, reports stand at 210

I'm not sure if that's TOTAL SMS (Inbox, Outbox, Sent, etc) or just Inbox.

This is IMO the best program for use with K750i. I wish only if author could include birthdays in contacts. Also option to backup and restore bookmarks and notes could be nice too, and memory status for MS duo.

There are never any flukes with my setups

Well, did a small experiment, connected my K700, exported an sms on the K700 to an sms file, then connected my K750, imported the K700 sms file to the pc archive, then copied the sms from the pc archive to the K750.

And now theres an sms in my K750 inbox, that was originally in my K700 inbox

210 is max and total amount of sms in all message folders.
