how come you like the ict-13? I know its cool, had one before and sold it for the following reasons.
1. It exposes ur phone too much in public...here in the Phil is a no no. (experienced getting nabbed with my 6210, ice pick on my neck and back)
2. My phone fell several times because of the lever (when sitting)
3. It easily detaches when hit badly...happened when I was playing bowling, I accidentally hit it when swinging then BAM!, it went sprawling to the lane.

@jocer & nats
i've never been particularly fond of the cs reps of semicon, but i shrugged it all off (no big deal). but whenever i read posts in the forum of how helpful, accomodating and pleasant they were to some of the forumers i couldn't help but wonder--what branches and which csr's did they encounter. perhaps during my visits to semicon (ive been to almost all branches in metro manila) i would have the terrible misfortune of coming when all these accomodating, helpful and pleasant csr's would be on their breaks or leaves. or maybe (just maybe) they are helpful, accomodating and pleasant only to the people they know. BUT do you really have to be an acquaintance to be given pleasant service? personally i dont really mind being made to wait long, or fall in line, or even not being looked at or frowned at during the transaction (i'm not there to flirt around)-- what i do mind is being treated like an annoyance which they cant wait to get rid of. (which is what happened to me yesterday). thus my post. just wanted to counter balance all the hurrahs posted here.
its easy to help people you know and like. the trick is in extending the same kind of help to total strangers, and much worse "annoying" strangers. but thats the csr's job. if you cant stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.
apparently, from the way you reacted to my post, i am not the only one who experienced such a thing. |

I agree with your observation. It seems to me that special service is extended to people who drops the name of esato at semicon. If you're an ordinary customer, good luck.
I wish you guys would treat everyone like they are regular posters or users here in esato. (And this is why I keep on coming back to Smartnet - even if they're location is a bit inconvenient, they treat everyone like kings/queens. I haven't tried the new Service point yet, SESS (How come they were allowed to use SE's name?))

Well, If there's one branch I'd recommend to you guys it's Semicon Podium. I was new to that branch since medyo malayo from my place...I'd usually go to other branches, stores (hub) to check out new gadgets but I read and observed that the branches that are always updated in stocks are Semi Rockwell and Podium.
So I checked out rockwell, too bad they don't have stocks for the MCA-20, so I went straight to Podium. Still the same results BUT!...different service. This girl, (Deby) is not only cute and very accomodating, kindly offered me her BC. She also asked for my number so that she could text me if ever they'll have stock. Two days later, I got my new MCA-20 Grabe super bait talaga, she would even call me by my name "uy ayan na si Sir Mark" then she told the rest "ayan na si sir Mark kukunin na niya yung cam" So hearing those words really felt great. Hope you all get to experience this wonderful treatment.
Sorry na lang sa ibang medyo nabastos. Cheers!

@semicon people
can u get Semicon Southmall to interact here too?
by the way, Semicon Rockwell is the most accomodating in my experience. the salespeople of Southmall branch are good too. ..i just dont know if their technicians improved... |

Will the semicon put a branch somewhere in the Ayala Malls? I'm sure it will be hit... They have a service center in Herrera but it doesn't sell anything
