Hey guys, ok so got a update you. The OTA update became available today for my T!
I thought that I would give it a go and see how it fairs out.
So far so good.
Battery is he'll of a lot more stable.
Tomorrow I'm out for the day with the wife and kids so going to give it a good hammering. Camera, browsing and usual checking emails and stuff.
Will do a screen shot of the battery drain and report back.
Chris.

Updated to JB today... Touch screen is smoother and hopefully will fix some issues that I was experiencing with my phone.
Question: does anyone know how to change the lock screen picture? Theme pictures are ok but I would like to use a different one. |

Just go into your display settings and change it from there

It's Del1701 bud anyways I just took the plunge and tried the ota update myself, I had to manually refresh the update center for it to show though, so let's see how it fairs now then

Hmm 10% drop in a hour and a half, screen as well. Just changed the screen from adapt to lighting conditions to my own setting to see if that helps.

guys, I am using jelly bean update for over a week now and I kind of feel stupid for whining earlier. Battery life is much much better than what I was getting on ics. I use viber alot and previously with ics, the battery would just drain from hundred to 60% in an hour of call or so.. but with jelly bean its keeping it up much longer. I am really happy with the update tbh. Anyways, is this ota update an update after jelly bean? or from ics to jelly bean?

It's from ics to jellybean. Glad your finding the battery good on yours, this time round for me since updating this morning I now have 25% left so it's a little worse for me than ics but it's certainly a lot better than the previous 3 times I tried jellybean
Hopefully from now on the battery will get better
