Gosh I hope they announce Hayabusa soon. I have a despicable plan that might enable me to replace my XS for that.
Not that I don't think that the XS is an awesome device.

Nice try.
I'll probs give it to my mum. There's a hierarchy in my family when it comes to inheriting phones.

seriously. SGS3 is ugly and performance benchmarks does not seem to be anything impressive for all the hype it's gotten.
If Sony releases a hayabusa with solid specs with a gorgeous design that Sony is known for, it will steal the show for sure.

Sony should easily win from the design perspective as GS3 doesn't really turn heads assuming that they will use Xperia S's design reference, specs wise Sony should go for S4 Pro with Adreno 320 and it'll overshadow the Samsung flagship.

I'm hoping the next top-end Xperia will have more than 1GB RAM. I think RAM is what is lacking nowadays I want enough RAM so that all my apps remain open at the point I left them until I say close.
But then again, that might just be because I'm used to 12GB RAM on my PC.

How come we did not see Sony Mobile's Q1 performance reported?
I wonder how well they did in sales & what's their current rank among the manufacturers?

As Sony Mobile is now a 100% owned subsidiary of SONY, their results will be announced together with the rest of Sony group results on 10th May 15.00 JST in Tokyo.

With the trolls that the disappointed fans are throwing over Samsung with GS3's design and specs being ugly and predictable, Sony's "Hayabusa" could add insult to the wound if it arrives while the wound is still fresh

I can't believe Samsung really blew it ! The amount of disappointment on various tech forums with the GS3 is astounding |

..until Hayabusa arrives.
Samsung have thought they could pull off a iPhone 4S wool over the eyes trick, didn't work by the looks of initial reaction. Like everyone else though, I hope that hayabusa does live up to the expectation. We could see a good year for Sony Mobile if the next couple Sony devices announced are big hitting beauties.

Blew what ? The phone isn't out yet. Don't you think it is a little too early to state that they blew it ? The S II was criticized for its design and builtquality too, but it keeps selling and selling and selling.. . . . . .a lot of people were dissapointed when the 4S was announced but it keeps selling and selling and selling. . . . . . .
