Nokia isn't all that better when it comes to pushing from concept to execution either. The names N96 and E75 come to my mind. One has flattered to deceive, the other is yet to materialize.
Also, the problem with SE is not because their high end devices don't instill a desirability factor for low end consumers, but because their low end portfolio os practically non existent. Like Xell said, it's a catch 22 for them because they built their name as innovators and going after the plain jane market wouldn't really help their case.
The logical solution for SE is to forget marketshare and number of units sold and focus more on profitability. Not the best case scenario for the consumer, but it's the right one to get a company into a healthy shape. |

Strange, very strange that there are no leaks before official announcement. Why? Where are leaks-men? No photos, no details... last year was better talking about leaks than this MWC

Nothing strange here. SE is just being mroe protective of their stuff. When everyone knew that they'll release an 8mp phone, Samsung quickly announced one and released it immediately to beat SE |

I can feel that the anticipation people had for SE at MWC has been alot weaker than the past one  i also do not expect some ground breaking suprise from SE this time. even changing the president doesnt help that much. at least the c905 and X1 cannot be referred as complete failure like the ill fated k850 and p990

Yes, this is true, on the other hand, how big difference is it, if there are several phones revealed 2 or 3 hours before getting offical? I think it has no difference meaning to another cellphones producers.
