Awww. You can ring each other now

I think this is one phone that will bring 3G to the masses.

You see they have been pushing the 3G feature as much as they have its imaging capabilities. Its as if 3G is almost an after-thought.

I know one person who has 3g so I'm going to ring him later on and see how it goes.

Think this will lead to the next stage in prank calls?

for example, can you withhold your number in a video call?

how long before someone gets arrested for making abusive/obscene video calls?

Withold your number before making a video call? There's a point. I wouldn't answer a witheld video call.

Is this something your operator could barr for you?

Battery life not as good as k750, but thats to be expected, best feature I think is the internet browsing, though after going to approx 10 sites, I went through 7.00 pounds of credit, being on payg its £4.00 per mb (orange), so sending a picture (via email,600k) is bout £2 to £2.50 !

On a plus note expansys have dropped the price of sim free by £100.00 to £349, after a polite email I stated I paid £434 1 day earlier and they were nice enough to refund the difference.

About the intenet, you view websites as you do on a computer's internet yes?

If so, can you view all normal websites (So say view Esato as we're seeing it now)?

How's the controlling of the internt (Cursor to get to buttons, scrolling etc)?

What about internet music, video and gaming? (Might have difficulty due to no Macromedia, Internet Java or Quicktime etc?)

It means you have 3g coverage.
I presume you meant this icon:

@ Jcwhite, thanks for your answer mate

Just remembered that I'm leaving for S. Africa on the 14th So there's no point in starting my contract just yet...It really kills though because I'm soo desperate but it's a wise choice

One last thing that I'm very uncertain about, is the 3G aspect. I was on the phone to my uncle who works at CPW and he said that its cool if I get it on 02, but the K800i already comes with preloaded settings for 3G options...even though it may be unlocked, he was very unsure, if I could then use other SIM cards and still keep such 3G options etc.....can anyone say for sure that I can/can't?

Thanks Thanks Thanks!

K800 is finally here in stores as well. Now I have just one quick question:
Are all K800 made in China? Because that's what it says on the back of all K800s that are sold here.. [addsig]
