I now get an error when trying to upgrade teh software. It says n"no update for my operator". Its o2, why didn't it say that yesterday?
I will wait until later in the week and try again. |

gave up trying and have just called O2 online to arrange for 2 replacement K750i. They said they are getting them in today nd will send them out and I should get them in the next 2-3 days and have 21 days to return the old ones.
The new ones deffinately have the upgraded firmware.

Well, I am trying to get mine returned and the next upgrade won't be a sonyericsson. This is the thrid SE upgrade I have had and they have got worse. The K750i not being usable especially as a phone as its always dead.
I am gonna go back to using nokia. |

SE said the upgrade service is not working just now, new firmware will be available by the end of the week. Sounds like it resolves all the issues.
I'm going to wait as the phone is tops and has only locked up once since I got it
Camera is far better than any other phone camera |

I have emailed SE asking when the Orange firmware is going to be available and not heard anything back yet.
Its been a month now and we have been told "the firmware will be available this week/end of week" for the past 2 weeks this is getting annoying. |

Well, I know the other camera phones are not as good but I need the phone part more. So I will except a phone that works but with less features as I am on call-out and cannot have a a phone that does not work. Anyway SE have responded (below). Its see which get to me first the returnd packaging the with k750i upgrade cancellation or the firmware. I have had enough.
Response from SE:
Thank you for contacting the Sony Ericsson Call Centre.
With regards to your enquiry, we apologize for the inconvenience, a software update will be released imminently. You will be contacted as soon as the update is implemented.

Hi
I have a brand new week 37 unbranded k750i with the latest firmware and it crashes/freezes overnight when I set the alarm. (Alarm doesn´t go off and I have to change the battery to turn on the phone).
Anyone else still having similar problems?
cheers

My i860 kept crashing and had to remove battery each time to turn phone back on. Replaced the battery which was only a few months old. Hasn't crashed for bout a month so far. Probably irrelevent but maybe could help some.
Do u guys have your phones plugged in (charging or not charging?) at nite when experiencing the alarm/crash.
