My friend you are free to not to believe. But it won't change the fact.
I bought a new pay & go line from O2 and I'm using free Gprs for 3 weeks. It's totaly free. You can try. It'll just cost £0 hehe |

@nickorooster:
I was never tried to send message from builtin internet browser, because i like opera more than internet program. But opera is crashing when I send a message. The message is recording, though.
But with builtin program it is not crashing .
So the best way to send a message to esato is using builtin browser. |

I have O2 online contract... has anyone confirmed that this is actually working on the contract phones? The problem is, it doesn't seem to list GPRS data charges on my online statements, so I can't confirm if I am being charged or not! |

@sdavis73
First of all, I can connect every site I want. But the cookies are not working because of the proxy server. This is a constant problem. So if one site needs a cookie and if it can't work without cookies you can't open the cookie part of the site.
For example u can't stay logon in Esato. But when u want to send reply or newpost u can send. Because for replying page doesn't need cookies. You can enter your ID and pass and u can send your msg.
So the cookied sites are problem but the other ones are working perfectly.
End secondly, if you trying to connect this site with opera and if u can't this is the same problem. But u can access the forum by entering the direct forum address to the browser ( http://www.esato.com/board ) that's all.
I think if u ca connect to Google HTML site u can connect all other sites.
My O2 GPRS data:
Total data received: 22.4 Mb
Total data sent: 3.6 Mb

Hehe, my GPRS log is:
Total Data REceived: 66.6mb
Total Data Sent: 7.3mb
WHat a ratio. And that's after about 3 weeks too. Gotta love the free GPRS!! Actually, my credit is going UP?!?!!? I have no idea why, but it has been rising. Always overnight. I woke up this morning with 9.88, when yesterday I hade 8.90. And the same goes for the day before etc. Basically, I topped up 10 pounds worth of credit 3 weeks ago, and since then I've used at least 60 quid worth of stuff, and my credit is now going UP. I LOVE O2!!!!

Free gprs has been going on through proxy for at least 5 months now.I'm suprised that numerous people have been living with their heads in the clouds,seriously!have people actually been wasting revenue on wap?pretty sad paying a penny a page,or whatever the charge maybe.lol

Hey Folks. There is a thing that I couldn't understand.
When I connect to GPRS and when I use the opera I'm not charging,
BUT, when I try to use builtin internet browser I'm charging. My account is reducing while I'm using the internal browser.
This is crazy. Opera can connect for free but the other one can't.
Is this problem same for you, or the only person is me who has got this problem.

hmmm that does seem strange.it wos the other way round for me. after you finish using opera try disconnecting then open the inbuilt browser and let connect via this internal browser when prompted.this should work as some people in this discussion told me to do the same thing but opposite since I was getting charged while using opera and not the inbuilt browser.

@dekesh Thank u for your reply. I tried it in every way, but the result is same. When I let the bultin browser connect by itself I'm always getting charged. It's absolutely nonsense.

make sure that in the wap account the port number is 8080 and not 9201 as posted on the first page. then try it if you have not already done so.maybe thats the problem

it also depends on what internet account your bookmarks is set to operate on. go to bookmarks in your inbuilt broweser and press edit ull see what i mean. 60 mb used so far
